Thank you for visiting CERA Sports Park and Campground. We have a rich history in the Columbus community and continuously strive to offer the best in family fun. We know you will enjoy your visit!

Our History:

CERA Park, established in 1963 as the Cummins Employees Recreation Association, started as a recreation facility in Columbus, IN, that has 345 acres of beautiful parkland consisting of both indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Most recently in 2012, the CERA Sports Corp was established as a not-for-profit c3 organization that is committed to developing CERA Park into the highest-quality recreation and wellness provider in the community.

Saraland offers an 11-acre stocked lake, fishing, 308 site campground, six camping cabins, picnic areas, seven shelter houses, two outdoor basketball courts, four permanent hole sets and three portable sets, six horseshoe pits, two sandpit volleyball courts, a go-kart track, 18 hole miniature golf course, driving range, six tennis courts, outdoor amphitheater, playgrounds, remote control airplane strip, trap and skeet range, nine softball/baseball diamonds, aquatic center with large water slide and toddler play area, 30,000 square foot sports & fitness center with two full gymnasiums, cardio room, running/walking track, weight room, locker rooms, and much, much more.

CERA also boasts a beautiful 308 site campground, including camping cabins, and has been a prime location for hundreds of motor coach and camping club rallies. In 2020, CERA was rated as a “9.5 facilities /9* restrooms /9.5 appeal’ campground for the Good Sam Camping Club and is now a Good Sam Certified Destination.

CERA has proudly been part of the Columbus community for 50 years and continues its community growth in conjunction with the future of all sports tourism initiatives. CERA is committed to the future growth of wellness, fitness, and recreation catering to all families in Columbus and surrounding communities.
