We stayed one night at each of two unnumbered sites, the second to get more solar exposure. The road through the campgrounds is rocky with some puddles but we got in with our 24’ Class A unit. Some fire pits had grates but most are just a ring of rocks. The sites are fairly level. The lake appears clear but we weren’t on it. I didn’t see any boaters. It was the middle of the week on September 29 & 30 so quiet and of course, no bugs. We would go back again.
Ron would stay here again

The state says there are 17 campsites. I counted 6 sites here that have fire rings and direct lake access although there may be more. These 6 sites can accommodate 1 or more RV's and or tents and the sites themselves are well spaced from each other. The minimal maintenance gravel road is approximately 4 miles long and maintained by the forrest service. We had no trouble getting in with a half ton truck and 20' travel trailer. There are a few toilets on the trails between campsites.
It was quiet here with only one other tenter present our first night and no other campers the following night. We stayed here on a Sunday and Monday night on June 7th and 8th so likely not peak nights for camping. I did hear a couple atv's at one point and seen some firework remnants and shot gun shells about 1 mile away from the campsite.
This was our first time staying here and we will likely be back in the future. Bring mosquito repellent!
