We had a spot right on the Lakeshore. The concrete slab was level, but the approach to it was eroded or subsided so there was a bit of a jump. The water tap was located a little further than our hose would reach if we were completely on the slab. We had a spot right on the Lakeshore. The concrete slab was level, but the approach to it was eroded or subsided so there was a bit of a jump. The water tap was located a little further than our hose would reach if we were completely on the slab. We were able to use leveling blocks and park far enough forward on the slab to reach the water. there is a private marina across the water from the campground, but there was very little activity there. The campground itself was clean and well-maintained. We had two quiet nights.

Beautiful Views! We Are Staying For Labor Day Weekend And Within Just A Few Minutes Of Plugging In, Our 50 Amp Breaker Went Bad. Within 30 Min They Had The Maintenance Man Out Here And The Breaker Changed! Talk About Service On A Busy Holiday Weekend! Awesome Job Catfish Bay!

Flat spot, walked directly down to the lake. Camp hosts were polite, facilities were clean (didn't use but did a walk through). Fished some from the bank and had little luck. Flat spot, walked directly down to the lake. Camp hosts were polite, facilities were clean (didn't use but did a walk through). Fished some from the bank and had little luck. Water was very low, enjoyed looking for fossils along the water line.
Sad part about this park is that you have to drive through the old derelict bungalows that used to be available for rental. The lake doesn't appear to have nearly the boat traffic as it did 10+ years ago, we didn't see a lot of people or boats.
Quiet stay, we'd go again.
