The staff are amazing. The night host even stayed late and I mean late to show us to our site and make sure we had everything we needed. The campground appears to be older the spots are spacious enough width wise but length leaves something to be desired. The road inside the campground goes up and down hills so those with longer rigs may have some issues getting to or out of the sites at the rear. My cargo rack did drag coming around to my site. No metered sites but clearly they allow extended stays as several had diy patios there is even one rig that appeared to have a tree growing on the main slide. I didn’t try Starlink since I was in the front section with the older taller trees I expect getting a signal will be difficult.

We chose this campground as we needed a place near Charlotte for work purposes. The campground is convenient to the interstate. Apparently, the is the proximity to the Carowinds amusement park. We were pleasantly surprised that you barely hear any noise from the roller coasters. The location is very good if you are full time and want to have a city experience to get lots of errands done. But don't stay here if you are looking for a "nice" park. Roughly half of the sites appear to be occupied by long term residents. The sites are not maintained at all, and weeds are rampant. A big plus of the area we were in was that most were pull throughs. But when it rained, the entire campground turned into a mud pit. If I remember correctly, the sites in the upper 70's were completely washed out with mud completely covering the sites including under the RVs.
We have a Pepwave Max Transit Duo for AT&T and Verizon service. AT&T had download speeds of 10.3 and upload speeds of 20.52. Verizon was 10.39 for downloads and 7.26 for uploads. Our Mifi with T-Mobile had download speeds of 6.78 and uploads of 9.86.

We stayed here while visiting friends in Charlotte. We didn't go to the amusement park, or use any of the facilities. The site was level, with plenty of space between RV's. We had a picnic table and a charcoal grill on the site. No recyling here which I found strange.

Our site was paved and level with full hookups, cable with 50 and 30 amps. Bath houses were nice and clean and there were always staff out and about picking up sticks and trash. They have laundry, pool, cabins and a campground store. We felt safe and never had any trouble at all. Plenty of places to walk the dogs around. The WIFI was amazing. Wife was able to have video conference without any issues at all. Only issue was the constant planes flying over from Charlotte. Very close to restaurants and Cabalas. Overall one of our favorite campgrounds so far.

It was a little tough to access because of how close the spot directly across was, we had to drive uncomfortably close to their truck while backing in, but no harm came from it. We were extremely pleased that our site backed up to thick woods, giving the feeling of relative isolation, on that side at least. There were mature trees throughout our portion of the camp ground, providing nice shade. The bathrooms were clean. We didn’t use any of the additional amenities offered, but they looked clean and well-kept.

The adjacent amusement park is closed due to Covid but i bet it is a blast to stay here when it is open. Wooded perimeter so you feel you are away from the city. Drawbacks: very few- we were invaded by ants but they came and went( could happen anywhere), the roads between the sites we a bit tight- it did not effect us as the park was not full but it could be a problem in peak season.
