“No traffic noise from hwy 44. Only 0.6 miles from hwy 44”

Web site says 6 miles when in fact it is only 0.6 miles. The road is closed beyond the CG for repairs.
I suspect the CGs on 44 nearby could be noisy from traffic on inclines.
Empty mid week! Not full at weekend.

Easy stop just off main road on a side road so traffic noise is not horrible. It is still close to road, so you do get car noise and lights. Dirt sites/ pads, pit toilets, sites are treed but with larege cottonwoods, so not private, and have a lot of shubbery growing around the. Easy stop just off main road on a side road so traffic noise is not horrible. It is still close to road, so you do get car noise and lights. Dirt sites/ pads, pit toilets, sites are treed but with larege cottonwoods, so not private, and have a lot of shubbery growing around the. Has a creek running near some sites so it was VERY buggy. Generally clean. Was very busy with a lot a boaters on our visit.

We loved our campsite. It was huge - lots of space between us and the groups next to us. Basic clean vault toilet and a dumpster provided. No water. Beautiful views of the canyon walls which meant for a great sunrise and sunset. Much quieter than a few of the others off the main highway. Also saw two bighorn sheep as we were driv... more

“Run down campground”

Scenic location on creek and dramatic rock cliff but campground has a rundown feel. Pit toilets and dumpster are provided, no water. Toilets were old but clean. Site was eroded and had some trash, including a broken plastic chair left by an inconsiderate camper. Adjacent to the scenic geological loop where we saw wild turkey and bigh... more
Scenic location on creek and dramatic rock cliff but campground has a rundown feel. Pit toilets and dumpster are provided, no water. Toilets were old but clean. Site was eroded and had some trash, including a broken plastic chair left by an inconsiderate camper.
Adjacent to the scenic geological loop where we saw wild turkey and bighorn sheep. Campground is away from busier highway. Many hunters with ATVs and large trailers were camping in dispersed location further south.
