Question about Canyon Rim Campground

Looks like the "season ends" for this campground on September 15th. Do they not close the gates? You're still allowed to camp regardless?

Gate to RV/Van/Tent campground (first Campground-sign/right turn from access road) was open on 10/10/2022 when we and several other campers were there. Self-pay envelop and drop box at entrance. Visitor Center is closed during off season.

I'm not sure when they close the gates. I would call the ranger station to be sure.
