“250 pesos as of November 2023”

Great view, but very poor infrastructure. Single toilet in a building that was just thrown together and very poorly maintained. I passed on the shower also as I probably couldn’t afford the medical bills lol.

We have a truck camper, and we checked 3 sites along this road, camp #7 has bigger parking, able to park big RV and trailer with Wi-Fi $20/night, this camp #5 is smaller, but ok for us, we can easily turn around, restroom with no flash water, 250 pesos/night, the next camp is no far down the road, it looks narrower, no easy to turnarou... more

Sunset from camp #5 is breathtaking.

This campground is one of several "Ejidos" in Baja, simply put campgrounds owned or operated by a Mexican village or family. It's about 40 minutes to central Ensenada so may not be the most convenient for all. It's right by the highway and very accessible.
It's also around the corner from "La Bufadora", a blowhole that creates a sometimes huge spout of water and noise, but was pretty unimpressive when we visited during low tide. That area screams tourist trap with the exception of a solitary restaurant located prior to entering the shops called La Bufadora. Good food and service without having to drive to town.
The campground offers dry camping on a cliff overlooking the Pacific and beautiful sunsets. It apparently has toilets and cold showers in a rough looking little building, though we didn't try them. There are two large open areas, one above the other and another very high up accessed on a steep hill. It had rained and the road to the top one was iffy so we chose not to drive up, but it must have even more incredible views.
We were alone in the first open area and there was one other RV was in the second. I don't know how full this gets, but the experience would definitely be different when it's full. Even though it's right by the highway, we weren't bothered by noise. There were a couple of empty bottles on the ground, but the guy who was there on the second day was cleaning up as we left.
There were a couple of different people collecting fees out of the small building in front each day, and we weren't sure if that was someone's house. Payment is cash only.
Be aware, sunset this time of year is before five so those wanting to have dinner in Ensenada will be driving back in the dark, which many don't recommend.
