Clean and well designed sites, perfectly leveled.
Not very quiet at night since many trucks coming off the I-81 use engine braking, other than that everything else is perfect.
Not too far from Pottsville where you can visit the Yuengling Brewery 👍

I was grateful this Mom & Pop operation had one site left out of 100+, and amazed to find they take care of the whole place by themselves. Packed in like sardines with no privacy felt like heaven to me.
The pool was packed away for the winter, but pretty big. The Nature Trail was a nice 1/2 mile straight up, straight down jaunt perfect for shaking out my road weary bones.
Two 60 second showers (push button for more type), and a shared dressing room for the women was spotless.
Verizon 5G was fine.
No dump station.
18 wheelers using jack brakes on adjacent steep grade road was jarring.

Overall we had a great experience even with a bit of road noise from big trucks. The owners were so kind and went above and beyond to make our stay fun.

I'll start this off by saying we hardly ever stay at private campgrounds. But this campground was good, check in was easy, we got there a little early and the site was open. Our site was gravel, spacious, mostly level with a nice picnic table and fire ring. The feel here, as stated in other reviews, is that of a state park campground with lots of trees and a nature trail. We didn't use the pool but it looks nice. They have a nicely stocked camp store in case you forgot something, and they sell nice cuts of meat from a local butcher. The showers are by the pool and look clean and updated. They have a laundry room but we didn't need to wash anything. For trash they only have dumpsters by the entrance, across from the office. Soif you are on the back of the loop you have to walk a bit to dispose of your trash. It would be nice if they provided at least a trash can at the far end of each loop. The only other ding to this campground is the noise from the local road. Lots and lots of trucks going by 6 am to almost 11 pm. And they are very loud because of the steep grade on the road they have to be in low gear. There is nothing they can do about this but that's why I gave it 3 stars for noise.
Verizon download/upload/ping = 71.45/1.01/52 (using my VZW jetpack).

The owners are very friendly and are new owners. They take great care of the campground. The sites a little smaller but the multiple streams and sites make up for it. We will definitely be back camping.
