We needed a place on short notice for a Fri-Sat in March in Lubbock TX, and Camelot Village delivered. Level sites with full hook ups, new laundry on-site and perfectly good shower/washroom facilities. Even being close to a highway, the city setting was relatively quiet. Relaxed, informal check-in for us at this mainly long-term facility. Clean, felt safe, excellent wi-fi and only six miles from our ultimate destination, the Buddy Holly Center. We mainly search out state parks and other public lands; but with none available around Lubbock, Camelot Village was an excellent in-town alternative.

We spent a single night here as we passed through Lubbock. Beautiful entrance to the RV park (looks like a castle!) with easy room to drive through and around. Spaces are roomy especially for my 38’ Momentum. Right across the street is Costco and lots of other restaurants and stores (Cabelas). We will definitely stay here again

Not many spots for overnights, but what a nice RV park with decent space between sites. Not many spots for overnights, but what a nice RV park with decent space between sites. Cement pull through sites were big enough with a 28’ travel trailer and F250 Lariat long bed that we didn’t have to unhook. Park is across the street from COSTCO, lots of restaurants and shopping. All are walkable if you are up for some exercise. The only drawback is that you have to cross 5 lines of traffic (including the suicide lane). On the way back from dinner at PF Chang, we walked the extra distance to a traffic light just west of COSTCO. The pole farthest west has a “walk” button which stops all the traffic so you can cross safely. When you leave the trailer park, you need to go left (west) outside the Camelot Village gate and you will see the light where you can cross safely. It adds distance but it is better than getting run over. We don’t travel through Lubbock often, but I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed overnight on our way North. Stopped at Costco to get gas and saw signs for RV park. No reservation but we got a nice pull through spot so didn’t have to unhook trailer. Clean park nice facilities.

“Okay When You Have Nowhere Else To Go”
noted 5/13/2024
Yes, this place is clean. It also appears to be mostly long term renters as I was told there are only two overnight spots. When I arrived, there was no one in the office (tho it was 3:00 pm in the afternoon and office was supposed to be open until 6:00 pm) and no one answered the phone. There was also no sign on the office as to why no one was there, and there was no paperwork to indicate exactly which space I was to use. To put it bluntly, there was absolutely no info there at all.
After wasting 30 minutes trying to find someone or get some info, I decided to just drive on. Of course there was no way to notify Camelot that I was cancelling my reservation because no one answered the phone.. So I paid $40 to learn to never, ever go there again and to warn others.
