“Shady, remarkably clean and tidy.”

Very well managed. Quiet. Clean. Level sites, roads maintained without gullies or potholes. Mixed overnight and long term. No junk allowed to accumulate at the long term sites. One of the absolute best privately owned RV parks anywhere..

Wifi was able to stream with a few lags, definitely good enough for email etc. Pet area was mowed well and we didn’t have any issues taking our dogs there and back. I wouldn’t let the reviews scare you away from stopping for a night.

Stopped here just for a couple of days to do laundry and take a breather from the road. Walked my Golden Retriever around the park dirt roads and the owner came out of his house and started yelling at me to get my dog out of the area of his house. According to an employee of the park, the park has "Free Range" Livestock and Foul and the owner doesn't want dogs to bother them. They have a very small sign screwed to a tree to keep dogs out of the area beyond the sign which happens to be where his house is. There are no fences, that I could find anywhere so how do they keep these "Free Range" livestock and foul from wondering onto the highway or into the rest of the park? How do they keep the Coyotes on the other side of the sign? In two days we didn't see so much as a squirrel let alone livestock or foul. There is a "Pet Area" however there are no fences or waste bags or bins on the property anywhere. I was told the owners don't want to pay for the bags or have to pay to empty bins. In 50 years of RVing this was a first for me. This owner was completely unhinged over my dog being in the area 75 yrds from his house and among other RV's on the road past his little sign where the livestock and foul are supposed to be. Too bad it's really a decent park other than people speeding around on dirt gravel roads and kicking up dust all over the place but apparently that's ok. We'll never be back to this place!

Stayed here on an overnight off Hwy 67. Long pull through full hook up site. Big rig with TOAD, and did not need to unhook to get to site. Very friendly staff and veteran discount! Would stay again on travels.

Our tidy site had virtually no privacy, it felt like it was in the middle of a roadway! No table, but the vacant neighboring site was so close we used it. They make a great fuss over picking up after your dog and their "pet area." To us, the pet area appeared to be nothing more then the adjacent mown highway right of way, or maybe we used the wrong spot. Managers on site were taciturn but helpful enough. Owners were all down with Covid when we called. Showers still closed for Covid in Aug 2022, though owners hadn't even gotten vaccinated themselves. Go figure. The wifi worked even at the back where we were and we had OATV choices.

Ok for a 1 night stop over if you run your ac or white noise on your stereo to block the road noise.

Nice camp ground right outside of Poplar Bluff. Site is small but well maintained. Issue is owners, not polite or caring. Day 1 we go to walk our dogs at dog area and they put us almost as far away from there despite our request to be close because of handicap. My lab has to go on the way there as I was walking slow with my cane going down a slope. Owner came up and n her cart and told me next time to walk faster as the dog needs to make it to the dog area. I was in shock with that statement. A few days later they area mowing and blowing of sites. They come and start our site while we are sitting outside blowing dust and dirt everywhere. So we go inside and then come out to take the dogs to dog area but we can’t because they are blowing and mowing between us and the dog area. So we take them across from our site in an open field and immediately the owner came up in his side by side yelling you can’t allow your dog to cross the gravel drive and must take to the dog area. We were told by staff and a long term camper to go there because we pick up after our dogs and the dog area is not picked up. There are no poop bags or disposal for them.
If you are here with no dogs then life is good or only if you are staying a night or two while passing through.
Oh and forgot to mention the cat roaming the property and marking things like our chair. Didn’t make the dogs very happy either.

This September 2021, our site was more in the interior and was shady. Each time we were led to our site to be sure all was well.
We appreciated that so much.
I chose this RV campground because of the good reviews and because it was right off our travel route. It proved to be a good decision. We hope to stay again in the future.

Very nicely kept park. We got one of the open space pull-thru sites, nice level gravel, FHU's. A majority of the park is in heavily treed areas with interior roads a little narrow winding through the trees. Staff was over the top friendly. Great, reasonable price, good value. Located right on the highway but noise was not an issue.

There are a lot of puddles when it rains. In our case it rained steady for quite a long time but once it cleared the puddles subsided. Bring your own fire pit/fire ring as they do not provide one. It is right off the highway so you do hear road noise at times but overall a great campground.
