The park is picturesque and lovely, though they've been doing construction with heavy equipment all week immediately outside of our camper. Also there were road closures getting here from Appleton which doubled the length of the drive. These are both temporary issues and as such did not impact the rating.
For a small rig where you don't need hookups this location would be ideal.
For a large rig, I wouldn't recommend it. The two large sites are not level, in fact site 32 is "Crowned" and was quite a trick getting our 37' fifth wheel backed in.
In addition to this, potable water stations are sparse and it's unlikely that you'll be able to fill your tanks without moving the rig or siphoning from jugs.
Cell phone Internet service is sparse, and the trees block access for Starlink in most sites.
We'll likely return in the future, but with our smaller rig next time!

The campground is clean and quiet (some more activity on a weekend, as expected, however we did not appreciate kids running at midnight flashing laser lights in your RV windows). There is a store with good ice cream and some other snacks, and we heard that the showers are very nice, Good cell service. Friendly staff. Great to have firewood delivery to your site. Vault toilet across from our site was convenient, Nice peaceful grassy area to walk your dog or just sit and relax on a swing overlooking Lake Winnebago, as well as there is a boat launch nearby. Good place for fishing. Some campers had their boats and went fishing in the morning. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity. There is a pub around the corner where you can get some food and there is sometimes live music. Overall, a very good experience, would definitely go back.

Watch out for the lake fly hatch in May, but hey I’d rather have lake flies than mosquitoes any day.

The mosquitoes and flies were unbearable. Well kept campground but NOT enjoyable. We couldn’t sit Outside at all. Not a good experience. Showers are coin operated but clean. Had to request laundry room to be unlocked even though it states hours. No ATVs allowed.

Beautiful sunsets! Clean. Good hiking trails. Friendly staff and camp host! Good spacing. Seemed like more of a mature camp ground so it was quiet!

The site was well maintained, there is a nearby very clean and well maintained bathhouse, as well as a stocked office with a small camp store and cheap firewood ($12/3 bundles delivered). Lake view and plenty of room with very nice grassy lawn. Playground nearby but it was quiet when we were there. Will definitely consider staying here again, especially interested in checking out more hiking trails, of which there are many! And staying in some of the more beautiful wooded sites would be great too. Had 1-2 bars of US Cellular service.

What a great county run camp ground. Quiet with lots of space to roam. Lakeside so mind the Lake Flies. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Lots of amenities near or in camp. Pay showers tho.

The online system was requiring a 2 day minimum because of the 4th of July holiday, but a very nice woman helped us book over the phone for a single night. The office closes at 4 pm, so call ahead! Also, we couldn’t buy firewood after we arrived (because the office had already closed). Nevertheless, this is an above camping experience. We highly recommend!

Well maintained park. We got a walk-up site because on a Sunday afternoon. Plenty of sites to choose from with maybe 8 other campers in the loop. The site we were given was not paced and extremely muddy from the rain. I went back to the office and asked for a different site and they were happy to accommodate. There is plenty of room between sites and the site 24 backed up for the lake. Really enjoyed the sounds of the lake water hitting the shore. Cell signal was good on both AT&T and Verizon. Didn't check out the bathrooms so can't comment. Would definitely stay again.

While driving here make sure and follow Co Hwy EE all the way to the end, so not follow the navigation directions, unless you are staying at sites 61-71. Something else to note about sites 61-71, these are accessible by a single-lane “road”, more like a bike path. I traveled down this in my 33’ Class C and narrowly escaped, luckily too no one was coming down the road.
Once we found the office, at the end of EE, as well as the other loops, we knew we were home!
Fresh water is available from 3 spigots near the office, and one up by sites 61-71. Dump is near maintenance buildings. Loops are single lane so keep an eye out for traffic in and out if you’re rig is larger.
Decent cell signal, 5/5 with AT&T and Verizon.
