Some Cabela's locations do not allow overnight stays in their parking lots due to local laws or managerial discretion. Always call ahead to ask permission and make sure overnight parking is allowed.

We stayed overnight on a Sunday. Arrived early and only us and a couple of semis. There ere no designated RV spots, but there is a sign pointing rv’s and trucks to the left as you drive in. We parked at the far left, along a grassy area. Went in just to check, and also buy stuff bc we love Cabela’s and always need something. Clerk... more
We stayed overnight on a Sunday. Arrived early and only us and a couple of semis. There ere no designated RV spots, but there is a sign pointing rv’s and trucks to the left as you drive in. We parked at the far left, along a grassy area. Went in just to check, and also buy stuff bc we love Cabela’s and always need something. Clerk said of course just park to the side. By the time we went to bed there were ten other rv’s, parked everywhere in the lot, but they were all gone by 8 am (Cabela’s does not open until 10). If you stay here, Longhorn Steakhouse is right next door and has a fantastic dinner at a very reasonable price. You will smell the steaks from your rig ;). Easy off and on to the I90.

“Fine Until Some People Started Shaking Our Van”

We stayed overnight and everything was fine until 2 people started shaking our van at 10am saying “wake wakey” jumping on the back shaking the whole van trying to open the doors. By the time we got dressed and opened the door no one was out there and there was still several RVs that were parked from the night before.

There were only 2 sites available for RVs and big rigs. Storage containers occupied 5 of the 7 parking sites. We were a bit apprehensive about parking so near Interstate 90 but the noise wasn't distractive during the night. We noticed an increase in the morning. There were only 2 sites available for RVs and big rigs. Storage containers occupied 5 of the 7 parking sites. We were a bit apprehensive about parking so near Interstate 90 but the noise wasn't distractive during the night. We noticed an increase in the morning. This was our first attempt at dry camping with the trailer winterized and managed to have a great time. Cabela's was open till 9 pm and had a large camping supplies section. Clean bathrooms and a large welcoming fireplace enhanced our visit. Get there early as truckers frequent this spot.

Great little lot, I even called the store and they just reminded me there is no dumping or hookups. I arrived late in the evening and there was a sign directing me to side lot where RV parking is. There was a few other trucks and an RV already parked. I pulled in, parked and settled down.

We arrived around 4:45 pm and parking lot was packed and lots of kids in Costumes. Apparently it was a Christmas celebration with Parade featuring Santa on a Bass boat. RV Parking was closed until 7pm. Waited for parade to start then parked behind store and went inside to wait for RV lot to open. Turns out it is just a small stri... more
We arrived around 4:45 pm and parking lot was packed and lots of kids in Costumes. Apparently it was a Christmas celebration with Parade featuring Santa on a Bass boat. RV Parking was closed until 7pm. Waited for parade to start then parked behind store and went inside to wait for RV lot to open. Turns out it is just a small strip of parking spots bordering edge of Cabela's lot and Main Event Entrrtainment next door. Room for maybe 3 larger RVs parallel parked. By 6:30 still no room so we parked next to tractor trailer on side of building. No water or dump station. Nice storen and staff , but small. Made do for the night. When we left there was one A class (which was there when we arrived) and a tractor trailer parked in "RV Parking. Good stop if you are a small RV, larger RVs might want to find another spot.
