We returned day 1 to our camper to find a note instructing us to go to the office. There we were reprimanded for having a straw mat on the grass outside our door. When we questioned the infraction the staff (Ahmed?) started yelling, running back and forth and threatened to throw us out. He would not clarify if the mat itself was the problem, or the placement of it, just kept screaming “it’s the rules” and “you can leave”. Bizarre abusive behaviour. Definitely won’t go back to the overpriced parking lot.

Good spot but the ascots are very tight, i only have a 22’ RV and it was tough in the dark to get in to my sight. N to sure how others get big rigs in to these spots. Everything else was clean and nice. WiFi is a third party provider and requires setting up an account to use it so it never got used.

The campground staff were friendly, the sites are small, and facilities are clean. But one thing I would like to bring to everyone’s attention is the pet policy. Dogs cannot be tether to anything, and the dog’s leash must be in your hand at all times which made this difficult to enjoy our stay. I would not consider this a pet friendly place, and should be labelled as pet tolerated. Initially had the dog tether to the picnic table, a staff member came out and said that they did not allow this, after we return from a long walk with our pet we tether him to the truck on a very short leash. We were both sitting outside with our dog, the dog laying down between us sleeping, and again we were approached saying this was not allowed. Long story short we cancelled the rest of our stay, and was reimbursed the remainder of our reservation with no issue. Also the campground is very close to a rail line, and there were many trains throughout the night.

This campground is an amazing place to explore Vancouver from. It’s spotless, staff are friendly and help with tourist questions. Laundry is spotless, showers are hot and free. Sites are very small.

We knew that this was going to be something of a parking lot but we did not expect this. I cannot stress this enough - DO NOT CAMP HERE! The “park” is under a freeway so you here constant traffic noise. But most importantly this park was built to maximize on profits without any regard for the comfort and property of their guests. After checking in I sat in a long line of trailers attempting to park in the too narrow spots. Towing vehicles need to be kept somewhere else in the park. I watched with sympathy while another camper repeatedly drug his car through the oversized “privacy” bushes.

A short walk to the Sky Train station and easy access to highways.
Of course as everywhere else in BC, there is a train track very very very close... any closer and it would be in the campground and at 6:30 in the morning the loud noise can wake you up!
Overall excellent place where we would not hesitate to stay at again!
Oh yes... as usual... lousy WIFI.

This park is well worth the cost. Wonderfully clean, nice restrooms and showers. Laundry room is clean and front counter staff were friendly and very helpful.
We walked to the SkyTrain and avoided having to find parking in downtown Vancouver.
We will definitely go back!

This is our 33rd rv park, of 43, on our counterclockwise circumnavigation of the US and Canada starting in Palm Springs, CA. The trouble with rating RV Parks is in the "interpretation of expectations." I like cleanliness, orderly, uncluttered, and space/separation between slips, those are my first priorities. 2nd set is cable hookup and wifi. Others may not care, so you see the problem with reviews. BCRV satisfied these 4 initial impressions and went beyond with other amenities. Some previous reviews complained about the slip space being too small for their slide-outs because the hedges define the space size. We have a 25' AIrstrteam, no problem in tight spaces. If you are secure in your vehicle handling ability then there is no problem here. We love this place, and what is an RV Park without a wailing train nearby? Every RV Park seems to rent out to full timers. That's ok, but the standard they set based on my four priorities usually fails. BCRV keeps the standards high. The location of this park is next to a huge park with biking, walking, and easy access to public transport. We plan to spend 2 weeks here in the winter and a month here next summer, 2017.
