Great veiw and lake access but the bathrooms were horrendous! Literal maggots and brown water sprayed out of the flusher! If you don't have potty access, I would suggest to camp somewhere else! Be sure to bring your gas mask or a respirator because the smell will knock you back to into the Middle Ages 🤣

Another gem on Lake Ouachita! Beautiful views and several islands right off this spot. This spot is not a large area but during our stay only 2 other people stayed over night. Upon arrival there was one other person and he left. We were gone into Hot Springs on a Friday and were surprised when we returned no one else was there. Had the entire place to ourselves on a Friday and most of Saturday. One other camper came in on Saturday. Very quite place.
Some people drove through & a few stopped for day use but otherwise this spot was underattended.
There are a total of 5 spots. With an additional spot to the right before coming on down to the campground.
We had service and parked our 31 foot Class-C sideways looking out onto the lake. There was a spot right from there to put our kayaks in and go island hopping.
The spot we had was level. The other spot that would work for a larger rig would require some leveling but would also work. One spot was partially under water and was not level. The middle spot would be best suited for vans and tents. Another spot up top near the vault toilets was also not level.
The road in was fine. Loved this location for the seclusion, views, and kayaking.
We had cell service with AT&T.
This spot only has vault toilets, no water or trash, so come prepared.

Amazing spot with almost 360 degree view of the water. Should be fairly simply for any rig to get there although not much space for camping at this spot with a big rig. Awesome location and nice that the boat landing is down the road so less traffic. Stayed during the off season for 3 nights and no one else camped there. 10-12 cars passed through including 1 law enforcement truck but no one stopped, was a bit odd but lots of spots around the lake so people were nice enough to spread out. I took the middle spot on the top of the hill and was amazing. Could park right next to the water but more flies there during the day. Very clean spot & no amenities/bathrooms during off season. Only noise were various boats during the day and some people camping down the road could hear their music because sound travels well over the water. less than an hour drive to Hot Springs National Park and town, came back to empty camp again. Amazing sunsets and cool view from all sites. Cant wait to come back to this spot another time during warm weather!

I was camping in the campsite near the ramp and was woken up around 10PM by a man on a 4 wheeler with 2 dogs that howled and barked the entire time! They even came up to my tent and sniffed around and barked at me! I don’t know if this man is a local asshole or something but very rude! Other than that the campsite was nice.

This is definitely better suited for tent, car and conversion van campers. There is one wide spot right at the beginning on the left that we for into 28’ and you could maybe fit one tight next to us. Gorgeous. Absolutely quiet. Place to ourselves, beautiful moon, sunset and sunrise nothing blocking our view. It is 8 miles off the “main” road so we didn’t feel comfy enough leaving the trailer to go to Hot Springs NP like we planned.
2bars AT&T
Paved up until the last two miles or so but nothing washed out like we had in IT AZ & NM

Scouted out the location. There are about 6 marked spots and more space to be dispersed. If you are creative you can definitely make it work. All the sites have water views. The road in has some lowish trees and some pot holes. A couple great places for bigger rigs.
