Thought it was closed off for flooding or something. Had nowhere else to go so we slept by the playground in our camper and left early. I’m the morning we saw the sign to the campground 🤦♀️. Would’ve loved to have stayed there. Highway was LOUD all night, with semis braking. The sound would’ve been just as bad in the actual campground.

Road noise quiets down at night. It was fine in our camper. Not the best sites for a tent but doable. Lots of space for walking and pets.
Perfect for a quick overnight on your way through.

Wonderful Place. Not Sure Why More Campers Use It. We Stayed In The Original Campground As The Trees Are Nice And Mature. But The New Campground Is Beautiful And The Trees Will Fill It In Nicely

The new portion of the park is ridiculously nice with tons of sites. Every site has electric, a water pump, a picnic table, and a fire ring. It’s extremely well-kept and the maintenance staff is incredibly friendly. Stayed here one night in a tent, would definitely return!

This was a great overnight stop for donations. We stayed in the older section of the park. Spots are shaded and spaces are next to each other parking lot style with a hodgepodge of electric hookups. It was fine for us as there were only a few others in the area. The bonus of this side is it's easy to walk to town for a coffee or beer.
There is also a huge new area with about 30 sites, each with water and electric. There is a dog park over there as well. No shade but perfect for big rigs and spots are nicely spaced out. To get there, take the turn in just south of the coordinates posted here, on the road labeled 125. This section is also donation based with a max stay of 4 nights.
The park has frisbee golf, walking/bike paths, horseshoes, a pool, baseball field and a few pretty new playgrounds.
On the older side, Verizon was difficult to non-existent. ATT was 18 down/10 up.

What a nice place! Drive is paced, spaces are white packed rock, and electric 30 and 50 amp pedestals. Several water fill stations and a dump station in the middle of the drive for ease of dumping on your way out!
Also, lots of shade, creeks, big mature leafy trees, a cool frisbee golf course, and even a park pool (closed currently).
