So, this whole place is an off-road vehicle park. I know that now. If you don’t have a proper 4wd truck, don’t go. You could end up regretting it. Fortunately I was in my Nissan Xterra, which didn’t have any problems, but the drive wasn’t comfortable. It easy gets technical if you make the wrong turn, which google will ask you to do over and over. You can pull a trailer, but not a very long or heavy one.
As for the site, it’s small, 2-3 spots in the middle of nowhere with no shade. Also, it was unfinished at the time of my arrival so I begrudgingly went elsewhere.

“Couldn't get there”

The one star is not actually fair, because I didn't even see the campground. But in 4 years of living in a 20-foot van, this was the first time I ever made it partway to a campground and then decided, nope, can't do it. The road is incredibly steep, winding, and mostly dirt and gravel. I got stuck on one very tight corner for several minutes then had to keep going because it was not possible to turn around. I was still probably three miles away from the campground when I found a spot wide enough to turn, and decided that discretion was definitely the better part of valor. But I would not attempt this road in anything that didn't have four wheel drive and preferably something shorter than 20 feet. There's no way you're getting a trailer or a bigger RV up that mountain. It's also in an area that recently burned, so the campground itself might not be all that appealing unless you like dead trees, charred ground, and scrub. Although as I said, I didn't get there, so maybe it's gorgeous.
