They have the nicest staff, a great camp store, and a heated pool that is very nice. They also do pancake breakfasts and ice cream socials!

We stopped here for a week while traveling between Idaho and Wyoming. While not a large campground, it has a lot of the usual KOA facilities and amenities, with the full mix of RV, cabin, and tent sites. The campground is divided in half by the small swimming pool, which sits between the entrance and exit to the campground, and the office. We stayed in site 4 in the western half, one of the larger pull-through sites which actually exit onto the public road in front of the campground. Our site pad was gravel, with a grass lawn equipped with a picnic table and BBQ grill. The site was level, and although we didn’t have a tree next to the site we got a fair amount of morning shade from a large tree two sites over. There is a wall of small mountains to the east of the campground that makes for a late sunrise. Our section of the campground included two deluxe pull-throughs with furnished patios as well as a few back-in sites that also opened to the public road.
The middle row of RV spaces behind us was an unusual arrangement of pull-through sites, where all but one of the sites are entered via a dead end road which led into sites on both the left and right. These were smaller spaces with asphalt pads and artificial turf for the lawn. The center row of sites on the other side of the office are mostly pairs of back-in sites, with a few pull-through sites mixed in, all with gravel pads, while the sites in the front of the eastern end of the campground are all pull-throughs, where all but one point into the campground.
The office building is typical for a KOA. There is a small store area attached to the office, and bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities are accessible via other exterior doors. The playground is located right behind the office, along with an adjustable basketball hoop that faces the street. The propane refill station and dumpster are adjacent to the east side of the office. East of the office is a communal area with a fire pit, yard games like cornhole, a small collection of bikes and scooters for rent, and a small shed used as a concession stand.
The grassy enclosed dog park is constructed with wire kennel panels rather than standard fencing, which was a bit odd. And a number of those panels had doors, creating several potential entrances, but one seemed to be the designated entrance. Just remember to duck your head as you enter and exit if you’re tall. The dog park is really the only open space to walk dogs within the park, and it is lit at night with some motion-triggered lights. The only overhead lighting in the park is around the office, which makes for some decent stargazing on the edges of the park.
While we were there, the campground provided generous helpings of ice cream for $5 in the evenings Thursday through Sunday, and would send text reminders about it. DIY pancakes were also available between 8am and 10am on Saturday and Sundays mornings: the pancakes were free but you were asked to provide a small donation to a local charity.
In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 80Mbps down and 20 up, so streaming video was not a problem. The best speed I got on my AT&T smartphone was 52Mbps down and 10 up.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.

We stayed two nights - want to go to the Golden Spike National Historical Park and several other places, so this was a great base for exploration. From the campsite you have a view of mountains and the Great Salt Lake off to the west.
The site wasn’t the most level I’ve ever seen, but not bad. The grass verges between the spots are nicely maintained, and our “super site” had a propane grill, fire pit, table with umbrella, and a swing chair. Nice! On certain days of the week (Thurs - Sun?) they have all-you-can-eat ice cream for $5 and it was excellent. The park also does a pancake breakfast from 8 AM - 10 AM Thursday through Saturday, and you pay a donation to Care Camps. Nicely done!
I mentioned the fast check-in in the summary; they use an iPad outside and checked us in within a minute or two. Very nice service.

We have found that KOAs provide a safe base with easy booking and check ins and have given our business to them lately just because of the KOA brand and our past experiences. Not any more. Forgive the rant. This really affected whether we'll ever be quick to book a KOA again. No early check in, a fee before 2 pm. But if you're staying more than one night they'll charge and collect your balance at noon, before check in. Upon arrival the manager met me outside the office door. Do you have a reservation. No hello. Yes, and you already have my money. She picked up a packet of info from an outside table and stared at our rig. I looked too. I didn't see any thing leaking and looked back at her, still staring. Then she went in to the office, I followed. "When you made the reservation you didn't tell us you were towing." OK. My club member information is usually cached in the reservation window (since we use KOAs so often). Guess it didn't translate to this booking, I missed this one. Showed up on the next booking as motorhome towing.
So back outside. We would have been in site 24 but that's only 50 feet. So I thought, oh, she doesn't have to scramble and said "we can fit in 50 feet". (We do it all the time: 35 foot MH plus jeep) Her response: "My computer says you can't". So I asked the other question on my mind: Do you not allow use of points here since you collect balances before check in? "You were supposed to tell me in the notes if you wanted to use points". She then offered to go in the office and look up our account. I declined. I did not ask to use points; just used fifty dollars worth of discounts at each of the last three KOAs at check in, where I was asked if I wanted to use the same card on file for my balance. I didn't think I had any points left to use. But please come to our ice cream social. Not a chance I'm spending another dime here. If we could have left then without losing money we would have. Our site was facing and exiting directly onto a public street with a good bit of varied local traffic. No more secure than a Walmart. We stopped here specifically to see the Bear River migratory bird tour and regret not looking at various other options in the area. FYI: there is a 3 pet limit here and breed restrictions per the paper rules.

The office staff is very on top of things and extremely helpful. The sites are gravel but level for the most part. We had a pull through and the sites near us were also pull throughs. Close to stores and the view was pretty nice as well! We have a 36’ rv and had no problems. Full hookups too. We have a cell phone booster but we had 4 bars with Verizon.
