Three long-term campers here, so much for the 10 day limit posted. With the long term campers here and pretty spread out it would be difficult to fit 6 RV's. Maybe a van or truck camper? Seems like a nice neighborhood. Just like the Midwestern town I grew up in. Full hook ups and safe. Great spot for a night or two.

I was a little worried because the latest review was so old but the campground is still here and it was open even though it was getting close to Winter. The sites were easy to get into. Sadly only 30amp. Someone stopped by to let us know they had just shut down the water for the season. It wasn’t the prettiest spot, but it was cheap and convenient and we were happy to find it on our way to WY.

Nothing fancy here, just s full hook up for 20 bucks! Size is not an issue, with users of the overhanging tree branches out the front entrance. But you can easily drive in the back to enter or pull out. Electric and water are set up next to each other, so rigs tend to be alternating facing north or south in order to be set up right with your hook up location. The only negative is that Broadway is a very busy street until about 9:00 the Tuesday night we were there. Trains a mile or so off came through at 1 AM and 2:30 AM, but polite engineers only do their whistle in a couple short bursts and was not an issue.

Our GPS didn't take us to the exact location. If you're heading east on Broadway, the campground is on the left just before the three tall grain silos, directly across the street from the Senior Center. There are six sites and they offer 20 and 30 amp service, water and sewer. Sites are on grass. Check the location of the services before deciding whether to back in or pull through. It would be difficult for some rigs to back into some of the sites due to the overhanging tree branches. There is a children's play area and a pool at the park. Payment is on the honor system, check or cash only. Place payment in box by site 1. There are places to walk pets, but no fenced area. We had two bars with Verizon, but cell and data service was fine with our booster.
