I stayed at the end of September 2023 while driving from the NE to Alabama. I got in at sunset. One other camper (tent) was there. It was quiet and the stars were bright through the trees.

Got in late after a day at Shenandoah- good access, no problems in our sedan. Site had lots of space - fire ring. The lake itself wasn’t visible, just a typical woods area. But was pretty! Clean, space for a rig for sure, level, quiet.

We spent a nice night here nov 2020 in our 25’ motorhome. There are only a few spots that would accommodate such a vehicle, so I consider ourselves lucky to have gotten one. I saw a sign there which mentions the road can flood in heavy rains. Otherwise it was easy to navigate the roads into this area. Don’t expect all sites to be level... more

I’m guessing there were about 8 sites total.

Stayed here for a night. Pulled into the first spot I saw which was next to a little river/stream. Overall it was a nice place to camp. Shortly after I pulled in a few cars drove by looking for spots. This continued until dark so this must be a popular place to camp. The site had a fire ring and was very clean. Would 100% stay again

If you’re like me and wanting to enjoy time alone and in the wilderness this campground is for you. Very permeative with a stream flowing close to the campground

I lived nearby for a couple of years and LOVE this place. Now that we have moved back to Indiana this is our destination spot. The pond is small, but the fish are practically jumping onto your hook. Hiking, fishing and biking are all allowed and the only thing you need is your fishing license. It's so quiet at night it's almost spooky. Great for campfire stories. :) The ground is bumpy, so bring lots of soft bedding.
