First, let me say that I was very excited to camp here and try out the hot springs. This review is going to seem very negative but if I'd read any of this from other reviewers, I would have gone into the experience with a different mindset and been much more pleased. We were going to be in Bozeman and I was really looking forward to relaxing - even given the high price, I felt it would be worth it. The hot springs were excellent and everything in that facility is top notch. There are a lot of children in the hot springs and so the atmosphere was more of a public pool where parents allow their children to play and run wild, there was a lot of diving/jumping into the pools and pool toys being tossed around in all of the pools. This was fine, but not what I have experienced at other hot springs in MT so just mentioning that it's not a super relaxing situation.
NOTICE: there are summer concerts at the hot springs that go from 7 PM - 10/11 PM. They are LOUD. Like inside your camper with the AC blasting and you can still hear and FEEL the music. I did not read anything about this when making the reservation and it was really the last thing we needed after a long day of driving and camping here specifically to relax.
Unfortunately, the campground is a forgotten entity unto itself - a complete 180 from the hot springs. The showers are cold, no amount of letting any of them run made them even luke warm. The campground bathhouse overall is one of the worst I have experienced- tiles are missing and there are holes in the wall, you are also sharing with a dozen or so cabins, so it's busy. The entire campground was a mud pit. It rained on our first night and the sites and some of the roads were gravel (but most of it missing). Even the walking path to the hot springs from the campground was really muddy. When I printed my reservations I'm sure I had 4+ pages of rules, so I felt surely this would be a nice, quiet, tidy, campground but none are enforced. Dogs off leash, people speeding through the campground and there are a LOT of employees wandering around who are most helpful but the are all teens or early 20s. One side of the campground seems to be full timers -they were all very quiet, just trying to give a realistic picture. And the free breakfast was a nice touch but 30 minutes in, they were out of coffee and had no eta on when more would be coming. My guess was, never.
I would definitely go back to the hot springs with a day pass but I would never camp here again.

“Need Some Work”

Convenient location, but the campground really needs some work. Tight sites. Gravel is rough. Lotta dust. The Hot Springs is nice.

We loved the Hot Springs access and the work out facility. We also loved the free breakfast and the other amenities- the dog park was great, the rec room was entertaining, and there were lots of choices. We definitely would stay here again. Also, each staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful.

We came to this campground from Grand Teton National Park. If you aren’t paying attention, you’ll blast right past this place. We nearly missed the turn. It is located off busy Highway 191. There are spaces that have grass and pull throughs with dirt. I am so tired of dirt & dust! I highly suggest that you stay in the premium spots with pavement and a paved pad for your picnic table. All spaces are very close. Some have branches in the way so be aware of that if you’re trying to protect solar panels or just simply your RV. The bathrooms were fine. They could really use some sprucing up now that they’ve invested so much into pool improvement. This used to be a KOA as I had always known it. Was sad to see that the bus up on a billboard was gone.
The morning breakfasts were great! It was so nice to wake up and not have to worry about breakfast. They served it each morning in the really nice clubhouse.
As we had been boondocking in the Tetons for 5 nights it was time to do laundry. Wash was $2 and dry was $1 or $1.50, which I didn’t think was that unreasonable. I got all our laundry caught up but lost 2 different socks that I must’ve forgotten to get out of the wash. Came back the next morning to find one but not the other turned in. Oh well.
I was born & raised in Bozeman and I spent many weekends at the hot springs as a kid and they have greatly improved the pools. We had so much fun.
This place is really dangerous if you need to turn left to go into Bozeman or Belgrade. Highway 191 is crazy busy now so you need to be prepared to dart out as fast as you can into the middle turn lane. Tricky to do with a 30’ motor home and tow vehicle truck. Be very careful! If you’re heading to YNP you’ll be fine and likely sitting for a while to turn right but much less stressful than trying to get to I-90.

Reservations and check in was super easy. Staff was so helpful and pleasant. Free showers. Laundry facilities were clean. Free continental breakfast. And free admission into the Hot Springs next door. Sites were clean and level. Great experience over all. My only complaint is the womens room could use a bit of an update

Considering the cost of the hot springs it’s a great deal to stay at this park if you have a couple people. We had 4 and definitely made prunes of ourselves while we stayed.

The staff got us in at the last minute due to a unexpected need to stay the night in Bozeman, glad we happened onto this RV park. The internet was not great however everything else was stellar. We will certainly return!

Water had been shut off for short term campers (we were aware of this prior to booking). Long term campers still have full hook ups (October 1-May 15). We had electric and sewer. Site was gravel with picnic table and fire pit. Hedges and trees between sites for added privacy. No free breakfast this time of year. Short walk to the actual hot springs, passes included with stay.
