Trucks coming in were noisy but there was also noise from the freeway and car parking area. Also there is a train track near so lots of train noise. Had to be careful not to step on dog poop in the long grassy area (wish people would pick up after their dogs) while taking out my 2 dogs. Would we stay here again? Only if we had to.

We got caught in a snowstorm and needed a place to be for the night as we didn't think it wise to keep moving. This rest area was a perfectly suitable place for an overnight. There is nothing there other than an upper parking lot for cars, a lower parking lot for trucks, and a sani-can, which we never used being self contained. Parking spaces level enough, we didn't have to unhook. The lot was empty when we arrived. Truck traffic pulled in and out all night, once we went to sleep we never heard it, nor did we hear the highway noise, which maybe says more about our rig and our ability to hear at our age. Great cell phone coverage with Verizon, enough that we were able to stream with our hotspot with no trouble. Great view of the mountains out our back picture window.

It was cooler in this location too because of wind I guess. Not a lot of other cars were there but you do need earplugs from cars on interstate. They aren’t near but the sound carries.

Beautiful rest stop in a green valley with information boards and toilets. If you're sleeping in your vehicle then it's great. Might need ear plugs though for the loud trucks on the freeway nearby.

Just like many other rest areas but smaller. No camping means you can't pitch a tent or sleep outside. As long as you are inside your rig you are good. #rollingonadream_
