“Mostly seasonal residents”

The campground seemed mostly occupied by long-term/seasonal folks (most with very nice rigs), with quite a few campsites set up for social gatherings, which could be heard well into the Saturday evening we were there. Not tremendously noisy, but definitely some gatherings around the campground that evening. Perhaps just a Saturday night thing and other nights might be more quiet. There are lots of mature trees giving a good camping-in-the woods feel even with the modest separation between campsites. The sewer hookup pipe in our site (and in nearby sites I observed) stuck up from the ground quite a bit (something like 8-10 inches) making it impossible to angle my dump hose smoothly down, even when using hose supports. I saw my neighbor had the same problem with his. Even worse - the sewer hookup pipes have no threads, they are just cut-off pipes, so there's no way to securely attach your hose - when you dump you'd better have another person holding the hose/attachment down or else it will easily flip out from the weight of liquid in the hose. The back-flow prevent valve on our water spigot leaked badly and the host was unable to remove it without stripping the threads of the spigot. Luckily our neighbor had an available Y connector which we were able to connect to. All in all the stay was OK and the hosts were very nice, but hope these issues can be improved.

There is a lot of trees in this campground, and far enough from hwy to make it peaceful. Super friendly and helpful staff. Large play ground for kids. We didn’t have 50amp but didn’t need it anyway.
