This is very close to a 5 star RV park in our opinion. This is very close to a 5 star RV park in our opinion. It is 7 miles off of I5 which doesn’t seem like much and would be so much better but it takes about 20 minutes because the road is so terrible and if you don’t take it slow (5-10mph) you will be jostled and rocked from side to side hoping nothing gets thrown about.
Once you arrive it is a nice piece of serenity, right along the river. The road in and out is paved asphalt with nearly level concrete pads. They are spacious and clean. Grass between the sites and from the riverside sites to the river. The riverside sites are pull in nose first giving you a very nice view of the river. We have a 39’ class A and the hookups were mid coach. Electrical up to 50 amp, water pressure was good and sewage was easy to access and use. We were in site #13 and there was a tree that provided some shade on the party side. A nice, clean picnic table is provided. There is no cable and our AT&T cell service was terrible. They do have WiFi but not very consistent or strong. Very quiet days and nights. Sound of the river very nice.
We did not use the laundry room. The bathroom was clean.
The highlight of our two night stay was the horses that seemed to be there all the time. They graze in the lawn areas surrounding the sites. Staff is good about picking up after them. There are clear instructions about interacting with them. They are accustomed to seeing us but they are clearly wild and need to be respected as such. A great variety of colors and sizes. Nice to just sit, relax and watch them.
Don’t know of much to do in the area unless perhaps fishing. Even when I googled things to do, not much came up. We used this spot as a 2 night break and stop over on our way home from an outing. We don’t personally see it as a destination. Because of the 20 minute, 7 mile drive off the freeway we would not use it as an overnight stop plus it is a pricey park. They also charge a $2 per pet per night fee.
I have to mention that the staff is very friendly!

Small park keeps it intimate and clean. The hosts are right there with you so easy to get help if needed. A small tree on every site helps with shade. Great big flat concrete pads. Bathrooms/showers are spotless. Pricey!! The most we have ever paid. Almost $100 for one night!! The property is small and there is a busy road above you, leaving no place to walk. We missed that.

Managers and staff very on top of things and make a real effort to keep the grounds looking nice. Very quiet. Lots of birds, including geese which the staff cleans up after (thank you to them for that!). Park laid out well. Spots are spacious, level, each has a concrete pad. Easy in and out. Separate Dog park for large and small dogs. Laundry and restrooms on site. A little pricey at 70.00 a night, that said the sites are awesome and management did everything they could to make the price with it, including providing wireless internet to improve cell service. Access road is about 5 miles of less than perfect asphalt but at least it is paved

We had booked 2 nights but decided to stay 3. Wildfire smoke made air quality poor one day, but tolerable the other days. Friendly hosts there. Laundry room was clean; we used the machines, no problems. They also have snacks in laundry room, including popsicles! They use honor system for the snacks. No cell coverage but Blue Heron provided WiFi and WiFi calling. However, one could just stare at the tranquil river in the colorful adirondack chairs all day! This is great place to chill and if it’s not smokey, one could enjoy kayaking, boating, and hiking in area.

Location – The campground is located about 6 miles east of I-5. The good news is that campground is located in a rural area with a wonderful setting along the Klamath River. So if you are fishing or floating the river there is an activity to keep you occupied. Otherwise, because of the rural location there is not a lot to see and do. Sometimes this is a good thing, but we prefer to have a town or hiking trails nearby. We had neither here so we felt isolated and bored at times. The wild horses were a treat to see. They frequently roam around the campground.
Access – The road to the campground is a county road that needs some work.
Cleanliness - The staff are working from 6:00 AM until evening to keep the park clean. The hosts and maintenance crew really work hard at keeping this place in excellent condition.
Site Quality – The sites are concrete with most sites facing the river. There is no vegetation between sites for privacy but there was adequate spacing between sites. We did not have a Verizon signal in the campground. The free campground WiFi provides 1 Mbps download speed. We paid $12.00 for one week of upgraded WiFi which provides 3 Mbps download.
Noise - The campground was very quiet. I will mention that you may want to avoid the site 18 and 19 area if you don't want to listen to the thump, thump, thump of kids playing basketball. The basketball goal is beside site 19.

Stayed in site number 17. The bathrooms were in very nice condition and very clean. The park is quiet and other than the distance from interstate five and the cost, it’s a beautiful place to stay. The cost was $70 per night for a riverfront site.
Saw a blue heron, ducks, geese, killdeers.

This place has it all. Worth the price. Very well kept. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. No fire pits bring your own gas one. The sits are all big and have clean level concrete pads. Fish right off your site. Great wi-fi. No noise except the sound of the river.
