They never asked if we were members. So I’m not sure if it’s strictly for that program. Cannon beach is about an hour from here. The restaurant/store is great. Really good food and very friendly barnyard animals. Goats, pigs, chickens, peacocks, alpacas and donkeys. Lots of interesting things to see and take photos of here. The RV parking is quite large. All grass. Can smell animal waste but not to bad. Any size rig could fit in the absolute boondocking area. You can hear traffic all day and night. They have a two night stay limit. We have U S Cellular for cell phones. They worked great. Groceries and fuel very close. We would definitely stay here again.

They specifically ask you not to unhook, don’t ruin it for everyone.

We pulled in once they closed so we just checked in in the morning. Bought some cheese, visited the animals. Lots of RVers doing the same thing. Parked in the field when you first come in to your left. Quiet night.

Park in the field with many others. Lots of room in the field. Only problem would be the smell from cows or something!

The camping is basic boondocking in one of two level areas. During a night in mid August we had 12 neighbors that were also enjoying Blue Heron hospitality. As much as I appreciate a spot to enjoy a free, convenient overnight, that only got 3 stars of my review. The other star, and the real reason to stop even if you're not going to stay, is their out-of-this-world Smoked Brie. This stop was day 99 of our Arizona to Alaska & return trip, but this stop was written into the plan when we first started planning the trip. It was an essential stop to stock up on Brie!.

We stayed 2 night in August and had a very pleasant time. We travel in a 45' Class A with a toad for a total of 67'. No problem navigating the field/parking area with it. There were about 12 families in the field with us the first night and less the second night. The Blue Heron store sells some wonderful items and provides samples of most. Don't miss the Riverhouse Greek Feta dressing - you will change your mind about feta and eating salads! The Tillamook factory is a short drive away. There is a Fred Meyer grocery in town and you can get to the coast in a short drive. There was a tiny bit of road noise during the day, but nothing as loud as the donkey at feeding time in the morning! Really can't say enough about this great free stay. Please do check out the store.

A good-sized field with fairly level open space to park The store itself has good breakfast and deli options, lots of cheese and a very nice wine bar. During the summer months it's open daily from 8am-8pm. There is free Wifi and nice bathrooms inside the building. Register on the left, just as you enter their front door. This spot is a real treat and its important that we follow their rules so that it remains available.

Pulled off upon reading the reviews. 100% delighted with this stop! We were welcomed and enjoyed wine tasting and shopping in the store. This is a great boondocking spot and we are grateful. ❤️

Park in field belonging to Blue Heron French Cheese company. Register in store, they give you paper for windshield. Lots of goodies in store including their cheese & ice cream. Have deli for breakfast & soups/sandwiches for rest of day.

No one said they have tame rabbits living in the campground. My dog was a maniac all night and day.
