“Nice Campground But Train Noise.”

Well laid out sites, surprisingly a large number of sites, some on the river. A huge downside is a fair number of trains use the tracks across the river and they all blow their horns. There were about 4 overnight and others in the afternoon. There is also some highway noise but not too bad.

We stayed at BCC for 4 nights. Campground was clean, vault toilets, water spigots throughout the park. Access to the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. We did day trips to Oregon Dunes, Eugene/Springfield, and Crater Lake. Location was good for that. We travel with a 20’ R-pod, and there were very few sites that would accommodate our trailer & truck. ( It would be a great place for tents) The only drawback was the close proximity to highway 58, so there was road noise, but not too bad in the evenings when we were in camp. Mid-week was not crowded, but weekends were at capacity. (We camped mid-July)

We only stayed one night so we stayed near the entrance. I believe there are 64 sites. The Highway noise was not bad. If you want solitude take a site near the river. Bigger Rigs could have a problem navigating the big trees.
Wonderful helpful hosts, water close by and super clean toilets.

We spent one night here as we were traveling between Portland and Klamath Falls. The site is really in the middle of the forest and it surrounds you! The river is right beside the campgrounds and if you are here for more than one night, do try and get a site by the river. If you are further away from the river, you will be close to the main highway and the noise from the road can be a bit loud. We slept fine, but the traffic was noticeable from our site. People who stayed by the river said that the river noise drowned out the traffic noise and it was good.
There are no amenities where we stayed and cell phone service was not available.
The campgrounds were clean and the host was very helpful.
Bald and golden eagles were easily spotted fishing along the river. They were very aggressive about taking fish from Osprey! Quite the battle. Short but intense!
Salmon, steelhead and trout were reported in the river.
