Quiet out of the way campground on the Ohio 30' from the water. Well worth the extra 20 minutes from the Interstate. Privately owned small place but well maintained. Located on the Ohio flood plane. The electric boxes are on poles five feet off the ground. You wouldn't want to stay here when the river was flooding. Thirty minutes into Paducah for provisioning and the National Quilt Museum. Nice play ground when it hasn't been flooded by rain. The only noise is the from the barges on the river.

This park is lovely. We spent time watching the barges go by. Spot are spacious. We backed in right on the Ohio River. The sunsets were amazing. The hosts meet us and guided us to our spot. The park is behind a coded gate. Highly recommend.

In my top 5 favorite spots. It's a very remote place so bring what you need. The owner Kim is one of the reasons this place is so special. Kim greeted me by name at the gate, escorted me to my site, told me the lay of the land, and came back later to see if I needed anything. She also provides garbage pick up every morning. This is a 33 acre park of old growth trees and well maintained grass. My site was nose in to the river, level and well shaded. The only noise comes from the barges in the Ohio River. Beautiful views, gorgeous sunsets. It's so peaceful. Nothing fancy here, no laundry or showers etc but didn't care. One of the best experiences I've had since going full time.

Enjoyed my weekend on the banks if the Ohio River. Lovely setting but don’t expect any amenities other than a fire ring. Family friendly. There’s was lots of barge activity so that was a plus. Price seemed a little high for what you got, just based on my experience.

Most barges were pretty quiet in my opinion, but there were some loud ones, didn't seem to bother us too much even at night. Owners were very nice and do a good job of maintaining the campground. Bath house was clean if you wanted to use it. A small playground for the kids as well as a small basketball court. Not far from Paducah, and some nice roads if you have a motorcycle.
Our AT & T cell service was spotty here at best, according to other campers Verizon was much better. No biggie unless you really want to be connected all the time. AT&T was available in the morning and evening but mid day use wasn't good at all.

Make sure to ask for site 34–it is an end site with a great path through the forest on the other side. Kim was lovely and I can’t say enough about how peaceful it was just to sit in the quiet and watch those barges along the Ohio.

We stayed because of YouTubers Keep Your Daydream, but we were even more impressed than what they said. Recommend asking for pull in site if you are in a motorhome w large front window. The views are amazing!! Sunset was beautiful!!

Cute little town about 5 minutes away with a Dollar General for necessities. Enjoyed watching and hearing the barges pass by on the river.

This place is just the best. We spent a week there last year and another week there this year. Might even stop through for another week on our way back North.
Half the sites back up to the Ohio river. Like you're 50-100' away from the water. It's so quiet here, you rarely hear a car go by. There is quite a lot of barge traffic on the river but often all you hear is a low rumble as they pass and nothing more. The loudest thing is the bugs. It's a serene peaceful park.
The owners are fantastic, very accommodating. We booked online and when we arrived they suggested a different spot with a nice shade tree at the back of the trailer. All the spots on the river are back in or pull in if you're in a motorhome. The spots across from the river are pull through via a path in the grass. We never had an issue with the power or water while staying there. They do not have wifi and the AT&T signal is so low it's useless. You need to be on Verizon or use satellite(starlink works great).
They don't have much by the way of facilities. It was an old shutdown RV park that they re-opened a few years back so just getting things going again. There is a playground, basketball and horseshoe area. Plenty of space to run your dogs but it is not fenced in. They do have ice for sale this year.
Paducah is about 30m away. There is a very narrow bridge you cross just after going through Smithland. We've done it with our dually but it did have some pucker factor when we passed a dump truck going the other way.
