Would definitely stay here again. Very relaxed. Loved all the shade trees, squirrels, cardinals, and even armadillos. Owners were very nice. There was a little noise from the street but not as much as some rv parks I’ve been in.

This is a review of our experience here for a six month stay for work (Sep-Mar 2023/24). Whether anything is under the control of the owners or not, it provides information about our experience for others. Our evaluation is based on a comparison of campgrounds we have been to over the last thirty plus years. We know we agreed to the terms here, but didn't have much of a choice with other places being full and other reservations being cancelled on us prior to our arrival.
Making reservation and check in were both easy. We paid by check. We were brought to our site in a golf cart and shown all the hookups and it was explained how to get into the site easily. We had no problems with Barbara or Russ. They were very informative as to where all the necessary places were (groceries, car wash etc.) We were also given a couple of good recommendations for local restaurants. You can buy tickets and get the trolley from here.
Most sites are nice, large, and shaded. Ours had a concrete pad and we fit our 36 foot 5th wheel and 2 vehicles easily, and still had all kinds of space. The front row is all on dirt and close together, the rest of the park is spacious sites.
The park itself is nice and everyone is quiet. There are many long term and permanent rigs, but all are in pretty good shape. Convenient location for work at hospital.
You can receive mail/packages here.
Now for the drawbacks.
It is pretty expensive for a park with no amenities. There is no wifi, laundry room, shower/restroom, picnic table, fire ring, store, or dog park. Nothing. Our next campground is four hundred a month cheaper and has showers, restrooms and laundry/game room. All of our previous campgrounds at this price had pools, playgrounds, basketball and or pickleball, stores, propane, dog parks, fire rings, picnic tables, and some even free entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings.
This is by far the loudest campground we have ever been to for road noise. The front row is 20 yards from the highway, and the second row (which we were in) is about 30 yards away. Vehicles with loud exhausts and stereos and semis all day long. There are both a police station and a fire station right down the road, so they go blasting by with sirens on average 4-6 times a day. I even joked with my wife that there were no sirens until 20 minutes into the new year. There is no attempt to quiet it, like a privacy fence or anything. I understand it may not be as bad in the back spaces.
No security measures. I know of four vehicles that were gone through while we were there (including mine). The fence doesn't surround the whole property, no controlled access, no cameras, and only one light at the entrance. I read a previous review that someone else had a problem with catching someone going through their stuff here.
Monthly stays have to maintain your own site. Mowing, raking, etc. Since it was fall/winter I did a lot of cleaning up leaves and fallen branches. Somewhere between 30-40 bags of leaves.
Large trees may be nice for shade in summer, but both of our vehicles (one brand new) ended up looking like they were in a hailstorm from the acorns falling out of the huge oaks they were parked under. The truck also had a couple of scrapes from the branches falling on it. Site 5. Not all sites have the parking directly beneath these behemoth trees.
We went ten days over six months. For the last ten days our rate was changed to where it cost seventy dollars per night. Most places have just continued those last few days at the same rate we were paying for the monthly rate.
After a while of being in Savannah we did find other campgrounds at about half the price which would have added between 10 to 30 minutes of drive time for work. We chose to not go through the hassle of packing everything up and moving. We would probably choose one of those campgrounds for two main reasons: Price and road noise.

Look, I work remotely and travel full time. I'll put up with a lot from a campground. my goal is to be in the trailer as little as possible. I made a reservation for Fri-Mon a couple of weeks in advance. They put some long terms and conditions you have to sign when make the reservation - like every place does. Shame on me for not reading closely, but this is pretty standard for someone like me who stays in a 1-2 campgrounds a week. Well for the first time in 100+ campgrounds. they do not allow check-ins after 4pm - and apparently, this is in the terms I did not read for the reservation. They called me at 3:45pm on the Friday of my check-in to ask when I would be there. I said 6pm, not knowing there was an issue. They said they are canceling my reservation. After politely asking if I could still park without them, or arrange to come the following day - I got an inappropriate, angry lecture. A final plea of I have nowhere to go, there is no way I can get a same-day reservation over the weekend somewhere else - just more lecture... Regardless of me not reading their 1 out of 100+ weird check-in rules, you don't leave someone without a place to stay the night of their reservation.
So here I am looking for a place to stay for the next four nights. Easy to do when every campground is full. Looks like this is going to be a Walmart circuit - so much for seeing savannah.
**Update - thank god for Red Gate Farms just down the road. Instead of an angry lecture, they tried to accommodate me as best they could, and found a way for me to dry camp for a couple of nights, THEN they are going to try to move a few things for me to get a hook up for the last two nights. And Red Gate is very beautiful with many ponds and animals. This may have worked out for the best!!! STAY AT RED GATE!
**Update to the Update: had arranged for a couple of packages to be delivered there (before they canceled my reservation). got there 15min after the email said delivered, and the main lady said she sent them back because I was not staying there. Some people are just rude and miserable.

The lady who checked me in was very nice but the site that she put us in was right next to a very busy and loud road. The price was outrageous for what you get. FHU on a un-level grassy lot. No fire ring or table. And you better have a long sewer hose. I have paid way less and have gotten more.

Location isn’t great - yes it’s close to Savannah but not much in the area otherwise. No security really bothered me being on such a busy road. Also one night someone was walking around outside my RV and it sounded like might be trying to mess with my, thankfully, locked up bike. I knew going in that there were no amenities and that’s fine just wasn’t impressed based on the price. $30 I’d rate it higher and maybe even stay again.

The office is in the antique store in front although the sign is low on the wall and easy to miss. Nice staff and helpful with what to see and do in the area.
Unfortunately getting our 35' rig in between the 5'er next to us and our utilities was very tight. And getting level was a challenge - but it wasn't severe. Utilities all worked fine. No park WiFi.
The sites in the trees are much nicer and probably quieter. So if you don't need satellite you'll have a better stay.

On short notice we made our way toward Savannah and had a terrible time finding an RV park. Biltmore had very few reviews and was a little further out of town than the others, however the few reviews we found on Google were positive.
We intended on staying only two nights, but we loved Savannah so much we wanted to explore one more day. The owner was able to accommodate us for a third night, we just had to move to a different spot. The morning we were supposed to move, our RV would not start (uh-oh). The owner was patient with us, and recommended a repair service who arrived within an hour and was able to diagnose our problem.
Biltmore was a convenient distance from downtown Savannah, Uber to and from the downtown Visitor Center ranged from $11 - $25 depending on the time of day. The office is located within a collectibles/antique shop and is ran by a daughter/mother team and if its the mother that answers the phone talk slowly and enunciate, she is a little hard of hearing.
The park itself is directly off of RT 17- so some road noise, especially if you are situated in the "overflow" lots which are directly next to the road. The "normal" plots are within some old growth trees and large flowering bushes. The neighborhood surrounding the park is quiet, however during rush hours, RT 17 backs up beyond the park, so be patient.
The park does not have Wifi but this is not the park to sit around it, it is a great launch site for Savannah exploration! The mother/daughter have all the info you need to know where to go including an IN PARK PICKUP for the local trolley tours. HOWEVER, the pickup can only be arranged for a day in advance, so plan accordingly.

Do not stay here - please. We don’t write many reviews and never bad ones but we felt we had to protect fellow RVers from this appalling place. It is quite the worst we have stayed at with the rudest woman, Barbara, running it who just wants to take your money. No facilities - no toilets, no showers, no watchable cable, no WiFi. It is on the edge of a very noisy road and is altogether deeply unpleasant. Barbara will take days’ payment in advance and then refuse to refund when you discover how bad the place is.
Don’t take just our word for it. Read the other reviews.
