Just don't miss the turn to the road to the lake if you're in a big rig. I did and it was a little sketchy finding wide enough areas to turn to get myself back on track!

City park with electric and water on a small lake. Large campground with many gravel sites in full shade and include equestrian campsites. No reservations. Payment is made in the honor box in the center of the campground. However, unless camping self contained, I would not recommend the campground. The showers and bathrooms are unacceptable and not useable. They are dirty, no doors, rather ripped shower curtains and no hooks to hang clothes.

This was a beautiful spot on our drive SW in December. In the off-season we were 1/3 campers spread out throughout the campground. Easy to get a lake view. Big sites, we have a 41’ rig and had no trouble parking. This is the only of the 3 campgrounds with a dump station.
Bathhouse kept warm and clean but nothing special.

Boat ramp and dock, even ducks swimming around. All this at area C and I wonder what more is at area A and B!! It is the cutest!

There plenty of RV spots (60 I believe), 4 or 5 equestrian RV spots with pens, and a truckload of tent sites. The RV sites are $20.00 a night via honor pay system. No reservations to my knowledge. The RV sites have water and 30/50 amp power. Not full hook ups. There is a dump station in the middle of the park.
There are showers, and flush toilets. The bathrooms were really pretty clean and didn’t smell that bad at all.
There’s a boat ramp and dock, pavilions, a swim beach, volleyball net and your other standard amenities.
We stayed here the weekend after Labor Day and there are maybe 6-7 RV’s here, so it’s super quiet and peaceful.
My wife is wanting to buy some kayaks soon, so we will definitely be back. We prefer places that don’t get crowded.

Stayed here to explore a section of Route 66 and go kayaking. This lake is a gem and popular for bass/catfish fishing! There are 3 city-run campgrounds, 2 natural settings on the north side of the lake (A and B), and 1 larger section (C) on the south side next to a large boat parking area. We stayed in loop A Tues-Sun in mid-May and we nearly had the place to ourselves (only 4 other trailers). Sites in loop A and B are tucked among mostly oak trees, some level, some not, and all are dirt with a bit of gravel and vary in length/width, with many accommodating long rigs (we have a 32' travel trailer). Sites are first-come, first-serve with payment on the honor system in a drop box (cash or check) (you can reserve multiple sites through the city office). Each site has water, 50/30 amp, picnic tables, and BBQ pits (some also have fire rings) with restrooms onsite, although they were locked during our time here due to COVID-19. Our site's 30 electrical plug was upside down so we had to use an adapter. There is an RV dump in section C.
The main camping area on the south side of the lake is quite extensive and has large, level pull-thru and many gravel back-in sites that back up to each other with a few trees (so shade is limited). A handful of smaller back-in sites on the parameter sit among the trees with some lake views. The C area is popular with equestrian riders/campers due to trails, with a few horse campsites complete with pens. There is also "primitive" camping available but not quite sure where (maybe main area?). There were paved pads in sections A and B that appear to be for day use as they have no site #s. Several handicap sites available in all sections.
Lake is easily accessible off Hwy 44 turnpike or Route 66, and is close to Chandler, OK, for shopping (Walmart Supercenter) but feels remote. Chandler Police drove through at least once a day to check on things.
