Overall Rating
This campground is on the NE side of the lake, not the main Campground. They were not charging a fee when we stayed here, due to Covid. The bathrooms were open, but we didn’t use them. Overall, it’s a decent place for camping. There are only tent spots that will fit smaller rigs. We have a Durango and Tab 400 which fit just fine. Nice tables, grills and fire pits at each site. Some have covered tables. Several spots are right on the lake.
Maybe because it was free there were some cars that seemed a little suspicious, but we didn’t have any security issues. We did wake up to some very cute goslings in the site next door.
