There are maybe a dozen spots. We ended up out by the “rock quarry” Not sure availability sept weekends but because there are plenty of spots you should probably be ok

Camped there in September 2020 during Covid. Didn't look far for a campsite, so would imagine there are many others available farther in. Great spot, but windy and sometimes hot.

This place is so big, I'd be really surprised if you couldn't find a place to park. Explore to the right after the cattle guard.

We stayed there at the end of august 23 and it had plenty of space to camp. we went in PAST the cattle guard and it was easy with plenty of available campsites. we have a 39' 5th wheel and clearance was no issue. good luck and enjoy.

We were there in May and there are a number of sites for motorhome/rvs, some are more difficult to access than others, many tent sites. I don't remember anyone coming in and not finding somewhere to park.
