Is there a sign marking Beas Lewis Flat on Rt 24? If not, how do you find it?

it is approximately around mile marker eight. There is a concrete vault toilet opposite the turn. dirt road not well marked, but has a cattle guard about 50 feet in and a forest service sign just behond that on the right. lots of good camp spots. we missed it and asked at the red canyon visitor center down past the arches (I think) and they directed us back to it. good luck . I posted a drone vidoe on our channel on YouTube at RVFOOLS. check it out and like and subscribe please.

Hi Vicki - There MIGHT be a sign. Heading East on Hwy 24 out of Torrey, pass the junction with Hwy 12 on your right (just past Wonderland RV Park). The highway first bears right and then curves left. As it straightens out, watch the crash rail on the right and turn right when there's an opening (about 600 ft), which is Beas Lewis Flat Rd. Go straight in and you will find a number of better or worse dirt tracks that lead off to a lot of nice dispersed camping sites. Check your site for broken glass and cholla (jumping) cactus. Great place, but it can get hot and/or very windy.

Yes. There is a sign at the turn off. Go across the castle hard and camp anywhere.

I can’t remember if there is a sign but you can find it on google maps…so you can turn on navigation to find the road.
