Only accessible in the westbound direction, about 15 minutes past the town of Brooks, there is a rest area with a free public sanidump station. Note the sign for the rest area on the highway 2 km before did NOT have a sanidump sign, but it is there.
You can approach the dump from two directions but drainage is better if you drive up to the dump with your nose toward the highway.
There is a water tap but sign says unfit for human consumption.
