We really enjoyed our stay here at Aspenwood. They don’t seem to have a dedicated website so you should call for availability. It was a pleasure to be able to chat with Mark who is retired, and it was nice to meet the animals including Oliver the cat, Mark’s dog Oreo, and feeding carrots to the two horses. Terry cooks up a great breakfast which opens at 8am I believe, at least on Sundays. The small place was packed with people. Very affordable and large portions. The giant blueberry pancake vegetarian scramble were great. They have folks that come by after services just to eat there. Mark said they have travel nurses and university researchers staying long term there on the property. People there are hard working, friendly and kind.
They have hot clean showers and the one I used had really strong water pressure.
This is a close RV park to the Two Medicine entrance of Glacier National Park which I recommend you visit if you have time. It’s one of the less visited parts of the park where it’s much easier to find parking.
It’s also very close to Kyiyo Mercantile if you want a Huckleberry Bear Claw pastry, which is a lot like a danish.
About 30 mins from the St Mary entrance to the park. Pretty close to Browning too, where they have a big supermarket and the museum of the Plains Indians.
ATT coverage was a bit spotty. At my trailer I had 1 bar with LTE but no connectivity. Back near the fence behind my site I was getting 3 bars though.
camper-727947 would stay here again

I was given a senior AND a veterans discount.
It's basically parking in their back yard and each of the 9 (?) sites has 30 amp electric and water, there is a separate dump station with a hose for rinsing on the little shower building.
I have a 40 ft motorhome (they can accommodate any size) and was able to use my a/c on the 30 amps but had to shut it off to run the microwave then turn the a/c back on when I was done with the microwave. It worked out very well.
There is UNLIMITED, ice cold, water that Mike said has about 5 different origins underground and, in fact, I was encouraged to wash my RV and car (admittedly they really, really needed it) to "help water the lawn". The grass is very dry and they only have one sprinkler that they keep moving around so I was very happy to not only wash the vehicles down (water only, no soap) but then I took another hour or so to water my entire lot in the evening so the water could soak in overnight (not being burned off by the sun as soon as it hits the ground).
You pull in at an angle so your front end will need to be raised up a bit (nothing a few blocks of wood and a leveling system can't handle) and then you're good to go.
It's about a 20 minute ride to St. Mary and the East entrance to Glacier Park. BE ADVISED you need a reservation to drive on Going To The Sun Road.... I didn't know that and was relegated to parking at the visitor center and taking a free shuttle up to Logan Point. The shuttles only stop long enough along the way for people to exit or enter the shuttle, there is no chance to get out and take photos at any of the pull offs along the way. MAKE A RESERVATION AND DRIVE!!! Also watch out for bicyclists and people walking on the narrow road... one woman was hit by a car on her bike as I was heading back down to St. Mary on the shuttle. An ambulance was on the way.
Back to the campground.... nearest town is Browning about 9 miles. There's an IGA there for groceries and another store but the IGA is stocked daily than the other smaller place which is only stocked maybe twice a week. PRICES ARE HIGH because this area is "at the end of the truck line" so best to stock up if you can anywhere else that would be cheaper. Also, gas and diesel are cheaper in Browning than they are in St. Mary. St. Mary gas and diesel is about 50 cents more per gallon so, fill up in Browning.
I did not use their wifi but I think Mike said it wasn't really fast, I have my own (Visible) hotspot using the Verizon network and had no problems at all with up or downloading anything. Great views of the sky, beautiful horses (bring carrots and apples) that belong to Terry and Mike. Their dog Oreo (?) is very friendly and so is the neighbors dog (can't see their hours, they are down the road a ways) that comes through every morning to visit with folks.
Bring a hose, if you've got kids let them water the lawn or bring a splash pad and let them have at it.
I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back to the area.
