The roads in the campground are a mixture of gravel and pavement.
Site 24 was a back in site. It had a picnic table and fire ring. It was not very level and needed blocks. The electric pedestals and water spigots are not uniformly placed at sites. There is a good chance you will need an extension cord or an extra long hose. For this particular site the pedestal was shared with the site next to us and behind us. Each site did have its own breaker. We did not have power issues for majority of our stay. When the park filled up on the weekend our surge protector tripped a few times due to high voltage.
Campground has showers, restrooms, laundry, lodge store, game room, snack bar, mini golf, jump pad, 2 heated pools, volleyball, horseshoes, tennis, and basketball courts (grass is growing up through the courts). The showers and restrooms are dated, but clean. The laundry area is near the pool and there were only two working washers and two dryers. It was $1.75 per load to wash or dry. They were clean and worked well. Propane cylinders are refilled during certain hours. The dump station is very open and it can be approached from either side, but there is only 1 dump.
Verizon signal was 1-2 bars LTE. It was adequate to talk, text, search internet and stream videos. Did not get satellite or any OTA channels from site.

Great Location - Older Campground, most sites in the woods.
We would stay here again just for the location - close to Wisconsin Dells.
Pros:
Good for kids - large open field with soccer nets, outdoor jump pad, open areas for other sports.
Mostly wooded rv sites for those that want to be out of the sun - some sites are in a less wooded area.
Circular wheel layout sections with loop roads provides more site space than new sardine rv parks.
Nice hiking trail (dirt road) that is partly in the woods on the property.
Camping store at office has basic goods.
Downtown Wisconsin Dells is only 6 miles away.
Walmart Supercenter is 8 miles away.
Quiet during the week.
Some seasonal sites have extravagant attractive gardens.
Dump area has plenty of room.
Cons:
Limited % of rv sites rented to tourists - mostly seasonal residents.
Some seasonal sites are run-down with dilapidated trailers.
Noise - very loud on weekend - people playing music outside at high volume.
When the speedway is racing, you can hear the cars.
Sites - some are on uneven ground, some are difficult to back into with big rigs.
some sites share utilities that are not directly on your site.
you may be more than 50 feet from the power pole and need an extension cord.
Our site was 30 amp, could only run one a/c during day.
Sites area assigned before arrival.

I do agree that this place seems a bit like a trailer park due to all the people here with permanent trailers. I'd say like 65% of this place has permanent trailers, and a lot of those are in rough shape.
The bathrooms are all pretty rough. I saw like 8 giant dead beetles in the urinals, which probably means they don't get cleaned out that much. Also, I'm really not a fan of the 25 cent showers, especially when it's super hard to adjust the water temp to a comfortable level and the water pressure is terrible. The only free showers are the cold showers that people are supposed to use before they get in the pool, but guess how many people want up take a cold shower before they get in the pool?
As the other reviewer mentioned, they do have ants everywhere. Mosquitos were also a bummer here. I know it's a nature experience, so I won't really dock them for that.
Good things to say are the friendly desk workers when I checked in and the nice pool. They do have several activities, but a lot of them are very outdated, such as the mini golf and playground (which was seriously probably from the 80's).
No wifi here and no ATT service. My wife's Verizon worked pretty good.
We stayed here "free" through the thousand trails, trails collection pass. I've stayed at some Encore resorts before, and I can honestly say I was just expecting more than what we got.

This was one of the worst parks we’ve ever visited. Site was awful, full of ant hills, and not enough gravel (we started sinking on one side). Mary, who checked us in was wonderful, but whoever the gal in the office was all the other times, was extremely rude. Made us feel like it was a huge inconvenience for us to even walk into the office. Restrooms were filthy and full of bugs. 2 out of 3 showers (which you have to pay .$.25/5 mins) were broken and one that worked wasn’t hot. Horrible water pressure. So many annuals, it felt like we were in a run down trailer park. Some sites had knee high weeds. We will never return to this park, nor will we recommend it to anyone else.
