Good to dump and refill propane. Do not recommend laundry or showers as they are dirty and disgusting. Dead trees in spaces. Looks like no effort to keep place up. On the bright side people are friendly.

Surrounding area has great forest roads for exploring. Don't miss road to Eagle Peak Look out - most beautiful place I've seen in New Mexico.
c logan would stay here again

Considering there aren't many places to stop around here, this place does a great job. The people that work there are great. They have laundry, wifi, sell ice, have clean showers & bathrooms. The downside is that they don't have any trees (sort of weird for a place in the middle of a national forest), and there is elk poop pretty much all over the site. All spots are pull-through, which is nice. If you are driving on through, it's a nice place to stop for the night. This is Dark Sky Country, so you will get to do some pretty amazing stargazing.
