Friendly staff, 4A had zero privacy but I booked last minute so it’s fine. Bathrooms are honestly stunning. Private toilet with shower.

The nice things: campground is quiet, in the woods, activities for kids including an arcade, pool, basketball courts, etc , friendly woman in office/store
We’ve seen better: too many sites, a bit run down, electric on and off, laundry facilities are… iffy.
No internet.

Although the campground is old and still needs more work to make it the best, improvements are ongoing. The owners are the only ones keeping things going and they are doing the best they can with what they have. The driveways have new gravel and were being worked on when time allows. The bathhouse is relatively new construction & clean. The office/store is still the old building and should be replaced. Nice pool but too cold for us. There are nice grassy areas to enjoy, playground etc. The ball field has a backdrop but could use some work. Likewise the horseshoe pits need some TLC. No clubhouse but two pavilions one with kitchen provide a community activity. A couple park models and a few seasonal campers could be spruced up or removed to make a better impression. There are tent-only sites and one rental cabin which is a new addition. The hiking trail needs maintenance but is accomplishable. Very few all-amp electric sites, many 30amp for transit campers where the 50amps are at seasonal. Sewer/water all ok, but some sites are a tiny bit too close. There is cable available but only wired at the seasonal sites. NY Route 43 runs below but is not really that noticeable. The entrance drive is on an incline and on an angle to the highway. If you want to get away from it all this is a fairly decent effort. For any serious provisioning you'll have to drive several miles to the outskirts of Albany for Walmart, Tractor Supply, Ace etc. There are some local convenances but are a bit too far and not stocked fully. Cell service was really good on AT&T, so-so on Verizon. Experienced 35-45mbps data stream on ATT jet pack.

Used the campground for our annual shakedown trip and to visit some relatives in either direction from the campground. Owners very nice, very responsive. On arrival, we were met at the store and they were expecting us. Our site was at the end of a row of sites next to the road that leads to the tenting area. We could easily back in and position our 15-foot teardrop camper. Campground owners were very nice.
The campground is old. The buildings housing the office/store and men's and women's room were old, but clean and in decent shape. Road was basically dirt. Mostly seasonal campers with their permanent decks, plumbing and decorations. Somewhat tight quarters.
As we hooked up our utilities, we found a cable box waiting for us. We hooked up our cable and were unable to find any stations. Found out every site is "cable-ready" for the seasonal campers, but they have to arrange separate billing. So don't expect your cable to work.
The site was level, clean with a fire ring and picnic table. A short walk from our campsite was a nice nature trail next to a pretty pond.
The site is pretty remote, but you can get gas, general store merchandise and great ice cream (Udderly Delicious Ice Cream!) within about 10 minutes. Can't recommend Brad's pizza.
Unforunately, our four days were cold, rainy and windy. We accomplished our goals, enjoyed ourselves and are calling it successful.
Access was easy and well maintained, despite the dirt roads (some work being done in the campground);
Location ws beautiful but remote.
Cleanliness was good but buildings' ages presented some challenges.

We checked in and office was extremely friendly. Our site was pull through. Enjoyed our 1st evening with family who lived locally visiting. We enjoyed short walks through the property beautiful woods although trail around pond needs maintenance and better marking.
