Used to be nice. Now it's a trashy, manure filled, gross mess. Want a clean stall? Gotta clean it yourself. Sketchy people. Theft. Save yourself the $20 a night and just camp at curt gowdy.

We used this spot for an overnight because we needed hookups. Site was level with full hookups, 30 and 50 amp electric. Quit as we were the only ones there. Price has jumped from $30 which is on the high end for me for a fairground type overnighter, but is now $40 with 3% processing fee. $41.50. I would not use it again because of cost.

Campground is around back, away from the road (Hwy 287), which is good. Yes on the FHU. :-) Self-pay station on the left as you approach the sites. Fairly level sites, if you back up far enough to get past the rise. Lots of weeds, tho. Price has gone up. :-(

Some road noise but otherwise peaceful mid-week. Convenient to downtown Laramie. Lots of OTA channels and able to stream with AT&T. Come in under the fairgrounds arch and head left then work your way back past the beef pavilion to the single row of RV sites.

We stayed here for two weeks. It was easy to pay using their QR code /or u can pay by at box at the pay station. All sites are back end, our 37’ class A didn’t have an issue. Nice that they have full hookups. Quiet even though you can hear a little road noise and train but it doesn’t blow the whistle. Absolutely no shade and bath house was not open. Google maps gave us bad directions to the rear of the campground, but common sense then took us back to 287 and south one street to the clearly marked Fairgrounds entrance. The back in full hookup sites are pretty level when you back all the way in. The water connection at site 24 had stripped threads making it impossible to hook up to water without a lot of spray, so we just used the electric connection. 30 amp and 50 amp on the pedestal. It was quiet the night we stayed. So far one train has passed by, but not that close and not a big deal. There were plenty of sites to choose from when we got here around 5:00.

Otherwise, no complaints and will return for a day or two. But not on a Saturday.

The RV section at the fair grounds was closed for a special event when we arrived on Aug. 1st, 2021. Since we are self-contained and don't need hookups for a one night stay, I asked for permission to park our Class-A motor home in the overflow parking next to the main entrance to the fair grounds.
Not much to see, but we had a safe place to level the coach, deploy the slides and relax until the next morning.
