We try to pull into one of the Grass campsites right next to the pavementBut a short time later Was kicked out. The guy said it was for Fair ground events only And not part of the city park.There is a nice dump station for $5. We had three bars on both Verizon and AT&T.

Was passing through afton on my way to camp in Alpine when I seen this city park. Pulled up and dumped and got water for $5. They have about 8 large day use parking spots with a 20amp power outlet at each spot. The city park is very clean. This would be a great spot to park your RV and take your TOAD up the rd to Periodic spring.1of ... more
Was passing through afton on my way to camp in Alpine when I seen this city park. Pulled up and dumped and got water for $5. They have about 8 large day use parking spots with a 20amp power outlet at each spot. The city park is very clean.
This would be a great spot to park your RV and take your TOAD up the rd to Periodic spring.1of 3 springs of its kind in the world. I included a picture of the falls fed by the spring. After driving 5miles from the city park, the falls are a 3/4mile easy hike to it.
