This was a good central location for exploring the location. Staff was helpful and friendly. Gravel roads where wide enough for our big rig and sites where easy to back into. The sites had gravel pads and where hard to level back to front due to the downward slope of the sites. had to put blocks under the trailers tires so you could let the front down enough. 30A , low, 110 power but we where able to run items one at a time.Good water pressure. They have heated, clean bathrooms and a laundry room. Heated pool, we didn't use. Activities for the kids on the weekends. We would stay again for the location and price. Our ATT switched to Rogers or Bell LTE 1-2 bars. Their wifi was good at our site, just slow at times. Did not check to see if they had any air tv.

Baddeck is a central location for exploring Cape Breton Island, and we stayed here because of the Passport America rate. The new owners are making a lot of improvements, including a separate section for seasonal campers. We were there in mid September and it was chilly, but the pool was warm. Bathrooms and laundry were clean. The roads were not in good shape (hence 3 stars), but I have a feeling these are on the new owners' to do list. Sites near the bathroom were tightly packed in, and very muddy (it had been raining for several days)
Don't miss the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and be sure to catch the Ceilidh (Gaelic for gathering, and pronounced kay-lee) at the Parish Hall every night at 7:30 where local musicians play and dance. It's always a full house, so get there between 5 and 7 to reserve your tickets. The Gaelic College is just up the road, and has an interesting museum and several demonstrations beginning at 10:30 a.m.
