We stopped here on our way to Glacier NP, after spending the afternoon at Little Bighorn. Checkin was easy. The hosts were very friendly, the free ice cream was a welcomed bonus! Our site was level, but kinda close to the neighbors which was expected. Showers were clean. We camped in a 25ft Airstream.

We didn’t have any trees near us, which could be uncomfortable in the warmer weather. We just missed the 100+ temps. There is a section that does have have shade trees. Good satellite service. This camp is also very close to Little Bighorn Battlefield. There is train noise. Not overly bad, but may keep some up at night. This is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for noise. Didn’t really bother us.

These are nice because have gravel and grass both to lounge around. We were level with a 2x4 on downhill side. Beautiful views as you overlook pastures, hills and what beautiful sunsets for all to see since we are tiered uphill auditorium style. Staff guided us to and into our pull thru spot and pointed out everything we could need just like office lady did when gave us our map with codes. Free ice cream bars for me and my honey too upon check-in!

While the reviews are rave, reality isn't so rosy. The checkin woman seemed to search for the worst site she could give us, and it was the worst on this trip West. While the reviews are rave, reality isn't so rosy. The checkin woman seemed to search for the worst site she could give us, and it was the worst on this trip West. No shade, not level enough to get my camper in without backing into the hill in back. They advertise great views, but our view was of other campers not the rolling hills. There were plenty of open sites, but the madam seemed to dislike us at the desk. I should have known better then. Anyway, we returned to office and asked for out money back, and owner's grandmother gave us cash! Bet there would have been an argument with the checkin madam. And, the road to the place is severe washboard and will shake your rig to pieces. Didn't stay long enough to check their cell service and wi-fi.

Verizon & AT&T worked well there. I had read some reviews about the dirt/gravel road going into the campground, it really wasn't a problem at all. It was flat and fairly smooth.

Fee was based on elec/water site with GSC discount. This is a great place to stay while visiting the Little Bighorn National Monument just up the road. Easily accessible but gravel road into campground keeps you going slow. We were escorted to our site which was gravel and not all that level. We had a nice tree and sites are maintained well with nice irrigated grassy area and some plantings and decorative stone. The best part was the showers/restrooms/laundry. They were spotless! The water here is very soft which was nice for laundry and hair, and we couldn’t get over how clean everything was...including the nooks and crannies and shower curtains! Just remember there is no dump station, although some sites are FHU. Lots of places for dog to walk off leash and all in all it was a pleasant and quiet stay. The attention to detail and extra touches were very much appreciated! We didn’t use the campground wi-fi because our own was excellent.

Needed a place to stay while we explored Little Bighorn Battlefield. Our rate reflects Escapees discount.
Pros: great WiFi, nice clean showers/restrooms/laundry room, fairly level sites with grass and large trees on some sites (but not all), moderate space between sites, free ice cream upon check-in, playground for kids, Frisbee golf, and very nice owners/workers (they escort you to your site but the escort needs to slow it down as we nearly lost site of him when he pulled into our space as he was quite a ways up the road).
Cons: grasshoppers EVERYWHERE (even found a few in our trailer days after we left) and a worker spraying for weeds decided our site needed spraying while my dog and I were sitting outside (I asked him politely not to do that while we were here so he went around to the back of our trailer and asked if spraying back there was okay...we were leaving the next day so he could have waited).
Must take a frontage road to access the park and part of the road to the campground is not paved, but easy to drive in any size rig (there were many class As in the campground). Trai

Close to Little Bighorn Battlefield. Pride of ownership shows and Chip and Sandy Watts are generous and gracious hosts. The views are amazing and we were very happy to have plenty of places to take our dogs on walks off leash and let them run! Very clean and friendly environment. They offer historical tours as well!
