Overall Rating
We recently stayed at your facility from 4/4 to 4/9, though we left the evening of 4/8. We were very disappointed in our entire experience. Though our fellow campers were very pleasant and enjoyable to socialize with, the campground experience lacked. When we arrived we were met by a staff member who was pleasant but when we ask about the activities of the ranch as published on your website (dude ranch) we were given a long rant about lack of staff, only 3 women and one was 84, no activities and could not compete with the musical festival but never an apology or recommendations of other activities. One phone number was given for a ranch to ride, no other suggestions. That ranch was full for the day and recommended others who were available. It was well known we were from Maryland and unaware of your town or surroundings. When we went to the office for overpriced ice, $4 for 10 lbs., we received the same rant again with no recommendations or apology for not having the activities available as on the website. We were told there would be 2 food trucks on the 8th and there were none, just a table selling burritos and tacos. The sites were only fair. The grass was long and growing into firepit, the picnic table was broken and the electric hook up was upside down preventing us from using 50 amp hook up. Though we could have moved there were others with the same malfunction and honestly, we were set up and ready to relax after 29 hrs. On the road. At several sites the water taps leaked. The laundry facilities were not clean. What you advertise on your website and poster is false. You are only an RV park with no dude ranch. The entire experience was disheartening. Please update your site and be honest so no one else experiences the disappointments we did. This trip had been planned for 1years at which time we received no notifications of all the changes and deletion of activities. We camped at 2E RV Guest Ranch Resort in a Fifth Wheel
