Nice quiet older well kept park, large pull thru FU and with lovely attendants. Thought abit pricey for the site. Its location is near I-75 but a some side roads. Some noise from 75.

When we arrived there was an electrical issue at our site. The staff quickly mobilized to move us to a different site where we had no more issues. The park itself is a little run down. There are some long term residents which makes the campground a little dumpy, the grounds are ok, but again just a little run down. We did not use the restrooms or laundry facilities. Bottom line ok for an overnight stay if traveling on I-75 in central Florida. Price is reasonable. Not bad but not great.

Older park, adjacent to (and easy access from) I-75. Roads paved, grass parking. Our site was level, full hookups. Cable tv, all amenities including propane on site. Pond/lagoon with a couple dozen ducks and geese just waiting for handouts. Road noise from I-75 was completely covered by our a/c. Will stay longer next time. Perfect for an overnight when traveling I-75.

“Popular place to get propane”

First of all, Florida is expensive! Diesel is consistently over $2.50 and propane is over $3 IF you can find it. There seems to be a shortage right now as several places had run out. (I was referred here from Ocala Sun RV Resort because they had run out just before I pulled in.) I drove up and saw the fill station just past the office on the left. A friendly attendant seemed to be waiting for me and very quickly got to work filling my onboard tank. He seemed to know what he was doing. The office was taking great precautions and the lady at the desk was very sweet. I'm used to paying about half as much for a fill but this is Florida at high season.

Friendly staff. Clean facilities (what we visited, did not use showers/restrooms). Very convenient to I-75. Hasn’t changed since we were here two years ago. Notice on checkin counter says they are having electrical problems; No electric heaters allowed, only one AC unit can be run at a time. I asked if they were working on the electrical system and was told it hadn’t been worked on since the 70’s. Nothing has been updated since the 70’s. Had planned to stay at State Park but reservation was canceled due to COVID-19. Dropped new toad off to have baseplate installed tomorrow then home
