This State Trust land has plenty of space for everyone, and a very Quartzsite ish feel to it. Lots of roads leading through different camping areas.
Not many trees or much for shade so we didn't want to stay more than the 3 days this time of year, it was already in mid 90's. Lake Pleasant is nearby and is a great way to beat the heat but it was very busy on the weekend. Much less so on a Monday.
There is a small airport nearby so lots of small plane training flights going on for noise but nothing crazy.
Verizon signal was 5 bars of 5G UW so didn't even need to get our the Starlink here!

Amazing sunsets, great cell, and many available spots. Road is bumpy like all AZ BLM land. Very spread out just drive in and find a spot!

Bought a permit online before coming but no one ever checked and there are lots overstaying the limit. The only thing to be careful of is where you enter. W Maddock road ((33.8196468, -112.2374614) is the best one for low clearance rigs. You can go down this road (33.8121865, -112.2387347) but I wouldn’t unless you are smaller and have great clearance. We accidentally did and it ripped off our bumper.
Don’t really plan on privacy while here. You’ll always be able to see other rigs/campsites. No one bothered us. We felt safe. It’s close to town and all necessities. Not terribly noisy. Honestly didn’t see a lot of ATVs/OHVs. Hot air balloons went up a lot of mornings and evenings.

Large area with plenty of room to choose a spot. Had to pick and choose an entrance as some were steep for our 5th wheel. We lived watching the hot air balloons morning and evening.

Nearly three times as many people here compared to past years and it’s getting crowded. A great spot if there weren’t so many people. And lots of dogs, some running loose which is never a good thing this close to open desert. We hear the coyotes frequently in the area. Can’t figure out why all of a sudden? Is it online reviews attracting people? Are parks getting crowded and expensive? Don’t know but we’re moving on.

We went to Pleasant Harbor RV Resort that someone mentioned in a review below to dump but they no longer allow outside dumping or water refill. BLM dump station about 15 miles away from this point as an option though.
Great cell service. Tmobile was fast enough to work, video call, stream, and game on.

Quiet place, lots of space, windy when we visited. Safe places to walk the doggies, cactus were large enough to see/avoid.

Great area; we will be coming back. Tons of room, flat and excellent 5G, as well as being close to town and close to Lake Pleasant. The land permit was $20 and it covers 14 days per year. Lots of rv's parked everywhere but it's easy to find a site without being close to someone else. There are several access points so pull into the main area and take your tow vehicle or ATV and go explore a bit before deciding on a spot. We felt safe being out here. Hot air balloons flew overhead this weekend. There seems to be a lot of trash and depending on where you camp, you might hear some road noise but it hasn't been annoying. We also were able to get several local stations on our tv (no internet needed).

We loved it here. It was our first boondocking experience. We found a HUGE spot and there were several more so it IS big rig friendly. There are several road accesses, I'd just scout a spot first if you can. Just go slow, we did fine. Every morning we were greeted with hot air balloons. It's quiet and peaceful.
