Overall Rating
We are traveling in a 27’ Class C motorhome with a Jeep JK tow car. We got lucky with the primo campsite #1. It is at the end of the turnaround but there was just enough room for us. Great riverfront camping with plenty of room at the site for 3 or 4 tents if you had a group. Pit toilet is nearby but not too close (close to site #3). Some fishermen use this site for river access but asked our permission to pass. Most picturesque camp of our whole trip so far. Only negative was practically no Verizon cell reception even with a booster antenna. Also, the trash truck zoomed by at 0653 on Tuesday. See photos of our camp. This is a Fly fishing only river. It is rustic camping at its best. Lots of shade in hot Aug. But bad for solar panels.
