You don’t sit inside in a circle like you do a real limo. We had no problem with that - just wanted to let others know what to expect. It’s a good shuttle to and from the restaurant. Get to the restaurant by 4:00 to avoid an hour wait. The staff at the RV park was amazing and super nice. They treated us as good if not better than anywhere we’ve stayed. The indoor heated pool was a great amenity!

Only stayed one night and it was OK. It's right off the freeway so that's convenient but it's not much to look at once you're inside. The free limo to the restaurant was a fun experience for the kids. The food was absolutely terrible, but it's one of those "experiences" you go to do because of the novelty. I'm sure others will complain about the noise from the highway, but with AC running all night/day that curbs the noise and its quite necessary even when we were there in mid April. Roads are nice and wide and no issues maneuvering 42 ft fifth wheel and long bed crew cab F-350. Site P2 gave plenty of room for the truck and trailer.
Good Verizon coverage. 5G with 57 down/17 up.

Only stayed one night while in transit cross-country. Great fun! The place is huge, and there are lots to do. We just had a quick over night. Had dinner at The Big Texan. Sat at the bar and zero wait! Even gluten free options.
Friday and Saturday night right across from the RV park is a concert venue that supports the local food bank. It was great! Drinks, snacks…bring your own chair.
Simple gravel and grass.

Amarillo Ranch RV Resort (re- named The Big Texan RV Resort) This park in the process of changing its name so both names are used right now. The park has lots of amenities and is convenient to I-40. There are about 150 long, level, gravel pull through and back in sites. Our site had plenty of room for both our 38 foot 5th wheel and our truck. We were escorted to our site by an employee. Restrooms, a heated indoor pool, hot tub, showers, restrooms, laundry, playground, pet area, pavilion, clubhouse, cable, and WiFi are all included in the cost, but we did notice the WiFi got very weak once more people came into the park in the late afternoon. Both ATT and Verizon cell phones had good service. Good Sam discount can be used. We would stay here again.

Free limo but You can tip the driver for the short ride to the Big Texan restaurant. It’s definitely a must if you stay here. That’s what we’ll remember and the food was excellent. Pricey but can’t complain using vacation money as it’s worth it. Get your campground reservations in early because they fill up fast.

Very friendly, easy to reserve online and the best part is getting free delivery of the Big Texan for dinner! We wanted to experience it but couldn’t fathom going over there so late, it allowed us to eat and relax before our drive the next day.
I will say the highway traffic and train noise kept me up a lot since we had our window open.

Good for a one night stopover, close to the Interstate so there is some noise.
