“Great Campground - But Noisy ”

This is a beautiful secure campground but super nosiy due to group campers partying it up... Why I gave it a 3 I had to leave and when I came back the gate code did not work and sat for 30 min trying to get back in. The speakers to the pad was so soft could not understand what was being said for getting back in. Spots are close toge... more
This is a beautiful secure campground but super nosiy due to group campers partying it up...

I had to leave and when I came back the gate code did not work and sat for 30 min trying to get back in.
The speakers to the pad was so soft could not understand what was being said for getting back in.
Spots are close together but I loved having extra room from the next camper and there are tons of trees around to put a hammock.
We had a site with electric only, there are those with water hook ups too.

Winton Woods Campground
Stopped by only to dump and refill. $10.50 to so. The dump and water are past the (arm) gates so you must go in to the office to pay first and then they will raise the gate so you can get on the property.

Stayed here for Christmas to visit family. Water available at the entrance area but other hookups turned on. Bathhouse closed and vault toilets on site. Park Ranger does regular patrols day and night. Campground has gate with code for entry. Dump station easy access at dumpsters. Recycling available. 5 bars of AT&T, but better... more
