Lots of room in the very level campsites and the views are amazing. We arrived on a Thursday in the early afternoon and there were two sites available as FCFS for two nights. The park was mostly empty the first night, but did fill up with reservations on the Friday night. Even so, it was very quiet (except for the mostly small planes landing and taking off at the nearby airport). All the sites have power and water, but no sewer (though there is a free dump station available on the way in/out). The grounds, including the bathrooms, were spotless! Cell service was very good.

There are metal canopies over the picnic table area for all sites. The only problem with them though are the wasps love making their nests in the eaves, but we weren't bothered for the most part.
The showers are also a little far too, right outside the entrance of the campground instead of actually in the campground.
It can definitely be very buggy here, but we managed. We didn’t like the $8 reservation fee per site on top of the $40 a night, so it’s basically $50 a night.
Signal was good, we used starlink. We loved walking by the water as well and we tried some other trails right outside the park. Great place to camp if you plan to explore Provo and the surrounding area.

The park is very well maintained with large sites that can accommodate just about any size rig. The sites are also spaced out so that you're not right next to your neighbors. Power and water available, with dump station and enter/exit gate. Great open space that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere but just minutes from town.

Most sites have a covered picnic table on concrete - very nice. All are water and 30 amp. Easy to access utilities. I think most if not all sites have open sky for satellite with some trees for shade. Views of both the lake and the mountains are wonderful.
There are two shower/restroom buildings, two trash bins, lake access and tons of excess parking.
Check-in is 3 pm and early check-in is frowned upon. We couldn't find anyone at the kiosk or the closed visitor center so we went to our site and set up early. Picked up our tag for the Jeep and site post after 3 when the kiosk was staffed.
The park is 1/2 mile from town so very convenient for getting "stuff done", but it is very quiet in the campground. There were several people fishing along the jetties, families picnicing in the large grass area - this is a popular place with locals but in May it wasn't crowded. The park was full Saturday night.
The only ding other than not being able to find any staff most of the time is the abundance of foxtails throughout the campground. As they can be a real problem for dogs, it did limit our time outdoors.

If you are not into planes or boats this may not be the place for you. There is an airport near by, with a flight school. Planes practicing taking off and landing. On the lake power boats going on by.
You cannot check in before 3pm, they make you wait in the parking lot.

Not salty like the Great Salt Lake to the north. I took one star off because of the grounds being in rough shape. But at the end of April, there was snow on the ground until recently. Not a hanging offense in any case. Worth the $40/night

Nice walk out to the jetty with great views of the lake. It was just what we needed after navigating the chaos of Metro Salt Lake City at glacial speed. Our site had 30 Amp electric and fresh water. There is dump station available as you make your way out.
There is significant noise from the nearby airport, but it tapered off after dark. All in all, a great find.

I was traveling from California to Colorado and was trying to make reservations there for a one night stop. Although the online reservations said they were full I gave them a call and they said they had plenty of spots for my 22 foot RV. It was a very quiet and peaceful park. There was plenty of space in between the RVs and mountains all around. I was in site 19 and had a great night sleep. They do have a dump station on the way out and I did have electricity, 30 amp, and water.
