Zero cell signal with Verizon but upon check in, I was given the WiFi password and then told that the WiFi doesn’t reach the front of the campground (where my site was). Why advertise WiFi if it doesn’t even work throughout the park?? There was a sign at the office stating to ask about getting a late check out so I did because we were only staying one night and got there in the late afternoon. I was told I couldn’t get a late checkout because they use that time to mow the lawn and maintain the park… there was only a tiny patch of grass at my site but otherwise it was mostly gravel and trees. Again, why advertise late checkouts if you’re just going to say no?? Very weird to me. I thought it was a good stay for the night but overpriced in my opinion. Showers were clean and require quarters to use.

The campsite is right off the highway, so there is traffic noise, but it settles down in the evening. There is train noise several times a day. Bathrooms & laundry are very clean. Nearby grocery, restaurants, casino & gas stations. Great location if you are fisherman as the river is across the street and there is boat access.

The owners of the motel and RV park are exceptionally friendly, and the RV park is immaculately maintained. The time and effort put into landscaping shows, as the trees and shrubs are vibrant and healthy. The sites are large and private, and while there is some train and highway noise, it is minimal and not a bother at all.
If you are in or anywhere around Trout Creek, there isn't a better place to spend a little time...
