We enjoyed our stay. We were a little unsure about where to park and camp, but picked a spot out of the way. It was beautiful. The vault toilet was nice to have and decently maintained.

If you are looking for out of the way places, yet still within civilization, this place is it. Tucked down some real life "ol back roads", Timber Ridge Lake is a hidden gem. While it's not a campground, and definitely not an rv or tt place, it is a good spot for an occasional car camper to spend the night. There is no level spots t... more
If you are looking for out of the way places, yet still within civilization, this place is it. Tucked down some real life "ol back roads", Timber Ridge Lake is a hidden gem.
While it's not a campground, and definitely not an rv or tt place, it is a good spot for an occasional car camper to spend the night. There is no level spots to pitch a tent and no level parking spaces but if car camping you can make it work.
I use straight talk (which uses whatever cell service is available) and had ZERO signal.

Camp in on a back country gravel road, almost scared me away but I kept going and found the lake. GPS took me out a different way so it might take you in the less sketchy way. Couple of people fishing there when I arrived in the early evening, then everyone left and I and the place to myself. Someone came to fish very early around 5am... more
Camp in on a back country gravel road, almost scared me away but I kept going and found the lake. GPS took me out a different way so it might take you in the less sketchy way. Couple of people fishing there when I arrived in the early evening, then everyone left and I and the place to myself. Someone came to fish very early around 5am, but didn’t bother me. No specific campsites, just some area next to the lake. More room for big rigs right before the lake use area, I was just tent camping. Vault toilet. Coyotes in the area, in the parking lot at night and came sniffing around the tent, but I overall fine. Would camp here again.
