“Great for kids and adults alike”

Overall Rating

We stayed in a 50A site in the 600s. These sites are located at the back of the park. This provides for negligible road noise and reduced inner camp traffic.

The 600s sites also have decent spacing between, with grass and trees throughout, and are level.

Tent/pop-up sites seemed a bit cramped, but were close to 'the action' (pool). Seasonal sites are well kept and neat.

There is a small dog park, a campstore, a decently sized, clean, heated pool with a large (adult-only) hottub and a small spray park. The pool is open from 9am-10pm. A small playground and a basketball court are next to the pool. Kids are free to ride their bikes throughout the paved roads during the day at the campground.

The Verizon cellular service here was junk - really unusable for data. Voice was okay depending on where you are in the park. AT&T was nearly as bad. The park's Wi-Fi is decent, but there are some weak zones throughout the park, so if you plan to use it, an extender may be fruitful (depending on your site). The Wi-Fi works well at the pool. We were able to use our Starlink system, even with some tree obstructions. The 600s sites (and likely others) provide cable hook-ups.

This park is well-staffed and there always seemed to be an employee around to open the gate or seen working on the park. The pool was staffed, but not 'gaurded' - the staff was just there to make sure the pool rules were followed, which were reasonable.

You can walk or bike to town safely from this campground along a side walk - less than a mile. There is also a trolley stop at the entrance of the campground. There is a small (Hannaford off-shoot) grocery store nearly nextdoor which has the basics covered.

“Expensive but worth it”

Nicest campground in the area. There are other options but they look like just rows and rows of RVs squished into tiny spots. His n Pines is well taken care of. We had a premium plus spot and it was lovely. Grounds are well manicured, lots of greenery, quiet and staff very helpful. Worth the price.
